As someone who's just tuned in today, it feels like the priority of this event are these in between talking segments, like they get all the focus and the runs are the side stuff. I know they had them last ESA at ESA winter, and they had them years back, but this time around it feels different. It just feels like there's so much focus on them it's hard to explain. Like they're longer, you can tell everyones set up and waiting for it to end, there's a lot of focus on the hosts, like its all about the hosts and their personalities this time around than the runners. You can tell some hosts are uncomfortable and some are loving it and relishing in it. I guess its a reward for sticking with ESA. Or that was always Edenals intention? Make it about the personalities? Are they trying to copy GDQ's core crew maybe? Who knows.
