I just found something out, warcry has a different animation set on twinblades than on all other sets, and spears/halibards/greatspears have a unique animation set.Both share a Jump for the first charged R2 (like the lightning cloud jump from the dragon king's sword), but the twinblade does a dragging attack for the 2nd R2 while the spears do a charge attack like the standard charge forth attack.Now this is useless on Twinblades, but cool none the less.

The DLC was 10/10 for me until the entire last section. Except for the Leda beatdown. Overall 7/10. Final boss felt rushed and forced. After a few days on thinking about the dlc I think it is mostly good, the only objectively obnoxious boss is gay incest brothers 2.0 and the furnace niggers are just boring. Almost all the side bosses were really fun with the only lame-easy ones being the mausoleum jobbers, only not guts with a gun was a challenge because at zero skibidis he hit really hard. I think a lot of the new weapons are fun but are either too gimmicky with poor scaling or obviously broken and will be nerfed in some capacity. I actually do like that using shields feel is as strong as ever and I only used them against the gay boyz. Also why the fuck does the carian catalyst sword suck cocks? I dropped it for my buddy who uses spells and it is the biggest pile of shit hybrid weapon in fromsofts catalogue. Also my buddy leveled up to around level 200 and I saw more pvp action than when I use taunters tongue in my own world at level 145, is around 200 the new norm?

Beat the DLC.I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that I am utterly defeated.The sheer size of the over world zone compared to the miniscule amount of loot you get for exploring leaves me defeated. You search nooks and crannies, you go through big open zones, and all you get a cookbook. A majority of the crypts, dungeons, what-have-yous, are on the main path or plainly obvious. To spend 20 minutes exploring, collecting fucking gravewort, to find a shack in bumfuck nowheresville only to get a cookbook made me exhausted. I began to loathe exploring because I knew it would result in nothing, and it did. Fucking nothing.I compared what bosses I defeated to the list of them, and through my own volition I defeated all but ~4~ which were brought back from the base game, so nothing new. I found every dungeon, gaol, whatever. I'm just so tired. The bosses aren't fun asides from the Frenzy guy, Messmer, and the scarlet rot scorpion millipede lady. They're at least fair and have clear openings to punish / fight. You feel like you're fighting a boss, not an onslaught of bullshit.Solid 5/10. Dueling Shields are the biggest positive surprise of the DLC for me, genuinely enjoying the Carian one so much. Light Greatswords are probably the biggest disappointment, if we don't count the Sword Catalyst that's currently bugged.

He was slow enough that I was able to trade with an R1, dodge through his next attack string, then land a jump attack intending to trade again but he somehow missed me (I was like 70% convinced at that point that he has a blindspot immediately infront of him if you're close and low to ground enough) and that broke his stance again. He went down very fast after that.
