One of them was Jaheira, and using her summon and her summon's summon, plus Us and Shovel, made it a lot easier to keep the cocoons under control the second time around after I got super overwhelmed and reloaded the first time.

Fuck, need help deciding bros. I can't decide on my spells. On one hand, my bard still remains the most squishy, always taking the most damage, so I'm inclined to take Spirit Guardians at least so any incoming or nearby enemies can potentially be dealt with quick, but it's the second one I can't decide on. Banishing Smite seems useful, but if it's limited to 50HP or less, it might not be as useful as I think, unless a boss is kicking my ass and they're just down to below 50, which would give us time to heal. Altnernatively Blight is just the strongest damage spell here.

Do you self-impose any restrictions on taking long rests? I feel like I'm cheesing the game if I take a long rest in the middle of a quest at a point where it wouldn't make sense, and then I just come back fully rested and everything's exactly the same.Like when going back in to kill Ketheric in his tower I try to get that all done in one long rest because it doesn't make sense for me to get all the way up to his chamber door and then go sleep for 8 hours and he doesn't do anything.Or am i just being autistic?

I was just going back to kill Ketheric. I sneaked in through Balthazaar's room and accidentally pulled a Scrying Eye from downstairs, which was impossible for me to hit so it sat there and rallied the entire bottom floor and prison basement too.This was the fucking Alamo. Laezel and Minthara formed a wall at the top of the stairs while Shadowheart healed and rained down support spells. My sorcerer kept the hallway constantly filled with Wall of Fire or Cloud of Daggers. I used up every good potion and ability and spell slot and 4 Revivify scrolls. Finally the last guy I killed was the Warden who had been picking at us from range. Then I realized I completely forgot to use Illithid abilities lmao.

As the 1 year anniversary approaches, I am thankful for all the fun times we've had. bg3 rocketed up my list of most played games on steam faster than any other game has. It's nice to have a proper crpg with high production values and nice gameplay, despite all the various ways we could nitpick it to be better in theory.
