Ok so I'm just under 20 hours in. We just arrived in Ruan. The game has plenty to love. The road trip vibes, the personalities (really popped more after I got the voice mod too), the history, all the little NPC stories. I really enjoy that world moves around you. Characters are off doing there own things and interactions with them aren't always centered on you. The story so far is promising quite a bit too.I'm kinda struggling a bit with the pacing though. And I don't really even mean the plot. I'm talking about the dialogue. Whew. It can be a lot. Enter a new town? Let's have a long talk. Meet a new NPC? Let's have a talk and then sit down for tea and have another long talk and then after we leave them we will discuss outside the house.Idk, maybe I just need to play in smaller sessions so it doesn't fatigue me so much or maybe the payoff at the end will make it worth it to me. I feel like Elaine and Van have better interactions and their relationship feels awkward in a genuine way where neither of them can really find the exact words to really say what they mean but Agnes is more cute than Elaine.
