The bug where you start getting hydrated or fed randomly from actions like opening your scanner Still exists too

Im no coding or game dev expert, i know a little bit about both however, and this bug sounds extremely retarded and it seems preposterous that this should even be a bug whatsoever. how exactly does opening a menu interact with the players hunger state? in what world would that function also include the hunger thirst states, outside of a specific conditional loop in which the player presses select on a food item in the food menu? it really reinforces my biased opinion of bethesda being staffed by gen x and millennial incompetents who really have no business working at such a large and vital studio to the gaming industry.

Cargo links and prayer
>>
>>487090234
It's so fuckin' buggy man I don't even know where to start. Every step of this requires you to redo something.

Iron-Aluminum mine is a fine starting point. You get like 6-8 free outposts so just start there and make outposts to get the components you need for inter-system linked cargo pads.

It's always more time efficient to just buy any materials you need. Be precise and go back and forth constantly. Be prepared to be encumbered literally 100% of the time.
>>
>>487090234
I looked up YouTube videos, Kibbles Gaming and Vash Cowaii have the best guides.

I set up a main base in Andraphon for helium, iron, aluminum, beryllium. Then, I set up outposts on Jaffa for Titanium + Tungsten, Alchiba for Nickel + Cobalt + Neodymium, and Lantana for Gold + Zero Wire (Silver + Copper). This is supposed to be for a Paramagnon Conductor farm.

I also have two outposts in Jemison and Shrodinger III for amp farming. The latter planet is the only source of luxury textiles.

If you want a good source of money, the Amp farm is the only worth a damn, since they have good value and barely weigh anything and are cheap to make.

The point of outposts is to have a place to customize your ships and a hideout to safely pay any bounty, as well as a place to assign your crew.

>>
>>487096237
Oh, and XP. Paramagnon conductors are your best value XP farm, vytinium fuel rods offer the most XP but require a huge investment of perks and resources and time.

Amp farms still give a good amount of XP, especially if you’re below level 100. Crafting 99 amps = killing one level 100 alien.

>>487078951
Honestly Bethesda should just do psychological tricks in a future patch and every complaint about loading will be gone even if it's still there. people will just be happy that they are tricked into not seeing a loading screen and just clouds instead.
>>
>>487103103
No they won't.
I just upgraded from an i5 to an AMD whatever (idr, but it's great.)
My old I5 could handle every game I played with absolutely no issue. But for Starfield, the thing couldn't do anything.
Starfield is a badly programmed game, but loading screens on the AMD are damned near non existant compared to the I5.
Some people are on older tech and Starfield punishes old tech harder than any game I play.
They shouldn't have to pay a boatload of money to replace their CPU to play Starfield.
>>

1. Akila City’s Core residency is exclusive to the descendants of the original inhabitants of Akila, the people who accompanied Solomon Coe to found it. There’s an entire quest about finding a former resident’s will, because the mayor didn’t want a guy from Neon to buy a Core house. Anyone else has to buy a house in the Stretch.

2. At the very least, everyone has a UBI in the UC, covered by the taxes. Freestar cucks will get nothing, will get their farms turned into quarries after being violently murdered by a terrorist militia, and will get branded with a corporate logo on their backs while eating literal fish slop from a can.

They wanted to introduce Satisfactory/Factorio elements into the FO4 settlement system but because they didn't playtest literally anything at all it's just a garbled mess.

They should've just accepted that it's simplified and kept Outposts on a unified inventory connected by Cargolinks, just make them the equivalent of Starfield provisioners that link the inventories, done. This shit is not fleshed out nor rewarding enough to warrant this level of micromanagement.

You can sell him any survey data. He'll even buy gas giant data. Just seems to be no benefit to doing so over doing it for Vladimir.
>>
>>487164882
You can sell him any data, but the vendor menu won’t show up until you have a habitable planet data.

If you have a gas giant data, he won’t buy it. If you have a gas giant data and a habitable planet data, he’ll open up the vendor menu, and you can sell both. However, the fucker’s literally too broke to buy habitable planet data, he just has 5000 credits when habitable planets range from 6000 to 12000 credits, and he buys them at only half price.

Vlad has 20000 credits and pays full price for survey data, but that means you can’t give him two habitable planet data at once, you have to give him one habitable planet data and two barren planet data.

Nah you can tell they put a lot of hard work and passion into the game but focused on the wrong things. Bethesda's system where everyone works on one system and then combine it at the end resulted in Starfield being a mess where a number of things did not properly gel together to feel cohesive so the entire game feels scattered as a result.

I've hired about 20 outpost engineering/outpost production specialists. Makes outposts feel a bit more lived in.

Wish that outposts (and ship crews) were more like Fallout 4 settlements, where it's possible to assign one to a bed and work station. Would be wonderful to know where the crew is on my ship. Or if I the work stations on my ship had some mechanical benefit like in Fallout 4 settlements, like assigning someone to an engineering console would boost reactor output by 1 or make ship move faster. Over and above base skill bonuses.

Bethesda made the cockpit screens display what's happening on your ship, which is great and functional, but the rest of the ship is just decoration.

The problem I have with this theory is that every single system fails in isolation.' Any feature, if it stood alone, would be garbage. The only saving grace is that it has so many shallow features it begins to manifest emergent properties that carry it into something you want more of but can never quite get.

Starfield is a "placeholder" world that feels like cardboard cutouts in a children's playroom for kids to play pretend with. Two houses and a barn are meant to be a "city", and the lifeless dolls positioned around are meant to be people.
>>
>>487207649

NTA but do you guys actually prefer small set piece cities as opposed to other open world cities with a lot of representative dead space? Like CCyberpunk or Mount'n'Blade or Star Citizen or something?

I don't mean that you find it inoffensive, because sure you can get past it as one more thing that you're not here for, but as an actual preference?
>>
Not them but:

I like how Star Citizen or even how Elite Dangerous did "large" settlements. You can only land at the spaceport, you can see the expansive city outside, but you can't freely explore it; restricted to the spaceport bar/stores and travel by subway to other locations which are interiors. The city is outside the window. Elite Dangerous has random POI/settlements that are 10x the size of New Atlantis, which is sad; that game is super focused on space combat but they still put in the effort for believable settlements.
>>
>>487210863
>Like CCyberpunk or Mount'n'Blade or Star Citizen or something?
All of those have the same problem as GTA. Its a large city, but you can't actually interact with 99% of it, and it turns into nothing but space padding that prevents you from getting where you want to go, and doing what you want to do.
>>
>>487211903
Elite Dangerous has essentially no interiors, on-foot sections, loot, stats, etc.
Star Citizen is just Mass Effect-style "planets"
>>
>>487212409
Ok? Still a massive improvement in every way to Starfield's take.
>>
>>487212570
You cant possibly think the scale on which these games operate are in any way comparable. And if you do, You need to go back.
>>
>>487210863
I like when the city is explorable regardless and not a backdrop. I thought Star Citizen was impressive like holy shit this entire city is explorable. To my surprise, it's just a small area. Backdrops should only be used in linear games.

As for big cities that are actually explorable, I don't mind them as long as there's a vehicle and good music to accompany it. GTA was good in that regard though I don't remember enjoying the driving mechanics nor the radio in Cyberpunk.

As for Bethesda walkable cities, they did the right scale with them. For cities that are entirely walkable on foot, New Atlantis is already taking it too far. The population was kept hidden on purpose but you can find NPCs stating that the Earth used to have billions of people compared to the current population. And WW2 casualties are enormous compared to The Colony War. Can't say I represent the average player but I love fast traveling since it kills a lot of downtime that would needed to actually engaging with the game itself. Oh and Cydonia is the perfect hard Sci-Fi city imo.
>>

Small set piece cities, easily. Witcher 3 proved to me once and for all that large cities in games are awful as a rule. For a large city to be good, it has to be designed for the majority of the gameplay to take place there. So you need cars, opportunities for action to happen, etc. I was actually extremely glad that in Starfield there is no random dungeons in new atlantis. New Atlantis still occupied me for 6 hours straight doing quests first time I got there. It was honestly probably too large in terms of front loading though.
I've always kind of found the notion of a 'realistic sized' city in games to be silly anyway. GTA V's city is one of the best realized in a game and yet you compare it to real life Los Angeles and you see it's damn puny by comparison (And that's a good thing)
>>

They have always been human, it’s just that you could see their faces during development, but now you can’t. Weird, given that if you mod the game to allow looting everything on an enemy’s corpse, Va’ruun have unique faces, like Spacers. There could be a difference between Ecliptic and Pirates, but they all kinda look same-y. Difference is that all Ecliptic seem to be white, pirates are more diverse, Va’ruun seem to be explicitly middle eastern and Slavic and Asian.

There is an Oblivion mod that does this very same lockpicking mechanic but way better and more intuitive.

All of Bethesda's worlds and towns have been scaled down proportionally; small towns in a small world. In Starfield, they scaled up the world massively, but kept the towns at their miniaturised scale. The towns aren't even 1% of what they should be to match the world. It was a mistake to make full scale 1:1 planets.
>>
>>487272207
Yes, I know that, I even try to explain that to people who think there are more raiders and bandits than there are civilians in any Bethesda game.

I can tell that the Well is supposed to be much bigger than it really is, and that there’s supposed to be some sort of additional unimportant districts between the Spaceport and the districts we can already visit.

I think Akila City is the most accurate in displaying its size, they pride on being homesteaders and would make sense why the majority of Freestars don’t flock there.

I don't get how they came to that conclusion. Sure the pirates aren't comically evil like The Dark Brotherhood, but their motive is inherently evil by its nature.

I think SysDef is one of the most interesting questlines ever because your actions completely dictate the way SysDef will react to you before you even start the questline. I don't need to mention the three main ways but it's interesting to see how many people considered SysDef to be bad just because of the first impression they got from them.

I had a window placed on a hab affect how my hallways routed and cut off my second story companionway despite it having no impact on the actual layout of its hab (there was nothing in the corner of the 2x2 I put it in). Removing the window fixed it, no idea why it impacted the layout logic.

>>487357435
Bethesda will never get rid of loading screens because the full physics sim stuff they do requires it to prevent consoles from melting.

i'm pretty sure the streaming the game world is completely unrelated to the physics.
>>
>>487355235
Sometimes it's nice to have regular women actually involved in some projects just so they can convince the men who were pussywhipped by anti-sex feminists into adding the shit they're too scared to add themselves
>>
>>487358145
No? the sheer number of phyiscs enabled objects, and the game's need to keep track of said physics, and the locations of said objects, has always been what causes Bethesda game's dogy performance.

Obsidian even talked about this back when Fallout 3/NV had so many issues on the PlayStation. The issue is that, because the game has to deal with physics for so many items, and has to kee ptrack of every item that gets moved from its default position, the game uses a MASSIVE amount of RAM, and other system resources, other game's don't have to. This led to stuttering and performance issues on the PS3 because the system used a split RAM system where half of its RAM was dedicated to the graphics, unlike the Xbox which could dynamically didcate its RAM as needed.

The load screens exist to unload physics object from the game world so entering cities doesn't just melt consoles, and lower end PCs, trying to deal with every object in every house in whiterun, as well as everything in whiterun proper, all at the same time.
>>
Someday someone's gonna make a Victorian style player home in this game.
>>
>>487358651
sounds like something that can be solved with sampler feedback streaming, to lower the amount of RAM needed?

Thinking about Starfield, there's only like a handful of features I really want or could see them adding
-Useable mechs(even if only on one or two worlds)
-Space stations for outposts
-Customizable robots like Automatron
-Space walk segments
Beyond that I just want to see more weapons/armor/outpost parts/ship parts/POIs

Its actually really weird. Looking at Skyrim and Fallout 4 there were like a dozen+ things I wanted that weren't in the base game, and most of them got added, but in Starfields I can't really think of a lot the game doesn't already do that I would want to see added.

According to the devs of Warframe, back when they were trying to get a publisher for the game, basically every publisher turned them down because "scifi(in the space opera sense) doesn't sell".

Mass Effect, Halo, and Star Wars, are like the three only really big and lasting space scifi series in gaming. Most find other space scifi games to be too boring, so people just make a ton of Star wars mods because that the only thing they really know.

I don't see it desu. It's more like a mashup of scifi cliches. In terms of specific works there's way more of Firefly and Starship Troopers. Star Trek is pretty much defined by having a gorillion planets with aliens who are just humans but with some wacky quirk like being medieval or having rubber foreheads and a single profession for their whole race and magic technology written to save filming costs such as transporters and phasers, none of which really applies to Starfield.

>Howard has recently revealed to fans that several older video games influenced Starfield, such as Traveller (which Howard wrote based on the game Traveller from 1977), Starflight, Star Control 2, and Sundog: Frozen Legacy
Honestly wish he took even more from those games, the rights to Traveller can't have been expensive and it'd have been great to have something directly in that setting. Actually now I can see the Starborn as being Traveller psionics.

I've actually played all those games, but enjoyed the exploration in Starflight and Star Control more, and the 'circuit board' style ship system damage/repair/upgrade from Sundog: Frozen Legacy was great - wish Starfield had that.

To me it just looks like the player is only faster in collecting the artifacts than most other Starborn. I don´t understand what´s really special about (me).
>>
Starfield DLC is getting delayed I bet. They already had to delay the game a full year, there's no way they've got the DLC anywhere near ready yet.
>>
>>487404525
Not much on the surface but you always died before you took control and played as your character. (You) surviving is completely new according to The Hunter. It doesn't stop there, after entering The Unity for the second time, new intros will start to appear and each of them appear to be inconsistent universes, shattered even. My favorite one is the one where Andreja killed everyone because The Great Serpent wants the artifacts for some reason.
>>
>>487404525
What’s special about the player is that they’ve always been killed by the Hunter, in every single universe, and is the reason why the Emissary exists.

This one time, and forever going forward, though? It’s the base version of the Emissary who dies, and you successfully ward off the Hunter.

No dude.
You're usually missing in every universe your starborn clones visit.
Sometimes you're flat out dead.
One time you're still alive.
You, the real you from your first universe, was unique amongst the other yous that weren't starborn.
Your starborn clones aren't unique like the real you, they're just supernatural slightly shittier clones of the real you. Remember, when you entered the unity you died and the one piece of you that made you unique died with you. The rest became starborn stuff.

I’ll be honest, entering the Unity for the very first time has wowed me, I felt incredibly immersed, and also very calm. It’s probably just due to the music, the color palettes, and the friendly voice of Unity Me, but it made me realize that the world will keep moving and keep existing no matter what happens. It made my problems seem insignificant, and that I don’t have much to worry about.

You usually get patted on the back that you’re a hero and that you saved the day in these kind of games. In Starfield, though? You’re shown the faction’s character still existing, carrying out their day-to-day activities, and that the only thing they remember of you is your actions, rather than who you are as a person. The Unity itself will, instead, take your entire being, and spread it throughout your universe, and everyone will unconsciously follow your example.

Hmm, I have never thought to do a small lightweight Class C ship. But thinking about it this would be extremely good right? The drawback of C reactors & then parts is the weight of them to limit your mobility. But if you barely use any other parts it's objectively the best way, you could even use class a engines to keep 150 speed

>unique
If the unity and multiverse is truly infinite, absolutely nothing is unique. It is only perceived as so through deviation from standard experiences until that point. At best it can be described as a subset of infinity that remains itself infinite by definition of being a subset of infinity.

People who legitimately enjoy infinite multiverses or try to theorycraft inside of them have no fundamental understanding of the concept of infinity. It is the antithesis to meaning. Things contained within a set of infinity cannot have a value. The end logical deduction is nihilism. Anything else is ignorance. The Hunter is right.
>>

White Dwarf 3015 has 180 speed. One engine requires 3 power, but can only carry 255 units of mass. Three engines should suffice, they can carry 765 units. You could also try four engines, for 1020 mass, like my ship here.

I’m of the opinion that Class C reactors are worth jack shit. The best shield is a B-class, my ship uses a B-class reactor that has 39 power and an A-Class grav drive. C-class reactors weigh a lot more and the best one only has 40 power. The best weapons are auto-particle beams, both are Vanguard, but the better one is an A-class that needs 2 power, meaning you can slap six of them on your ship, the other one is decent but you can live with the best Class-b or other Class-A auto-particle cannons.
>>
>>487419820
>The best shield is a B-class
Are you referring to pure output or mass/output?
>>
>>487419820
Ah very true points. I am tempted to ban myself from the vanguard stuff desu. But the range on ballistic and laser weapons makes me cry, 1000 usually compared to 3000 for particle weapons. That said I'm bored of the autoprojectors as well and want more pew pew
>>
>>487420051
Output. Thing is heavy and requires 12 units of power, which is steep, but it’s still a lot lighter and stronger than the majority of Class C shields. The best Class C shield weighs 2.5 times as much and only has 1500 shield, as opposed to the vanguard 1450 shield.
>>

Going to visit Delgado in the brig and getting his whole monologue about how the CF deserves to be treated as an equal to UC/FC made me lol. I'm glad the game actually let me counter him by saying something along the lines of "you can't prey on everyone else and expect to be left alone."

CF vs Sysdef was probably my favorite questline but they could have done a better job writing the pirates to be less cartoonishly evil if they really wanted players to take Delgado's "philosophy" seriously. I also don't blame some players for being a little indignant if they got hauled in to a UC black site over picking up a soccer ball or whatever. I think I saw a mod go up just the other day that tracks a reputation score based on how many crimes you do and only triggers the quest once you reach a certain threshold of notoriety, which would have helped with that.

>>487423334
Yeah for my current playthrough I installed the variable contraband value mod that increases contraband value in scanned areas so it's actually worth risking it vs just taking it to The Den. Sysdef was definitely justified hauling me in.

I took the extra 50 points, since the top of the line slayton engines could handle the mass of an ostensibly class-C vessel with class-A speed, though I may switch out my class-C grav drive so I can get an extra 1x1 brig.

Holy shiiiit, cant wait to explore more empty land!!
>>
>>487427524
The mass doesn’t just affect mobility, it also affects the braking and velocity of the ship. If you have a ship with 980 weight and a 1200 weight, both with 100 mobility and the exact quantity and type of engine, the 980 mass ship will run laps around its sister 1200 mass ship.

Then again, this doesn’t matter in a singleplayer game, just having 95-100 mobility is good enough.

Honestly it's my favored explanation as well. The relics and the Unity are clearly some technology that humanity doesn't understand, to the point where it destroyed earth. Aiza is the first to perfect the unity and uses it to hop again and again and again thinking he's saving the multiple timelines. But the only thing that's ever made clear is that we don't really understand anything.

What if that's not what the unity is. Instead it's breaking the timelines. Each successful unity is a new Universe, a divergent one, further shredding reality again and again as each Starborn repeats the effects for their own personal gains or agendas. And so each universe is familiar, but the farther and farther you get into divergence the more things change. Aiza messes up one universe by saying the wrong thing 200 years ago, constellation ends up lost in space or killed by Andreja or whatever.

He's the real villain and needs to be stopped, but the unity doesn't seem to transverse time except back to the start. So instead Humanity is just repeating the same mistakes on a cosmic scale.

I genuinely do not know how to make Nexus mods works
>>
>>487443816
I’m sorry to say, but the artifacts themselves didn’t destroy the Earth, Victor Aiza intentionally sabotaged the 1st generation grav drives to fuck up the Earth’s magnetosphere, so as to force humanity to travel across the galaxy instead of just staying in the Sol system.

When scientists began noticing the Earth was losing its magnetosphere, and that it was too late to stop it, Aiza confessed it to his assistant and the lead engineer in Nova Galactic who built and tested the very first grav drive. Aiza saw that he succeeded, and that there was no point in keeping the grav drives faulty, so he and the team issued a quickfix to all grav drives to remove the intentional fuck up and have them work normally.

Victor Aiza didn’t get this from the Unity. His Unity self didn’t tell him to fuck up the Earth, it just told him how to make FTL travel possible. Aiza himself decided that this was best for humanity, and while the majority of people would condemn him for sacrificing Earth, people like Andreja and the Hunter agree with Aiza’s actions.
>>
>>487445865
You know before the days of bloated installers, we used to just drag and drop the files to the data folder. Try that
>>
>>487446462
I don't install games on my OS drive and I think its lost its mind that I'm using a different drive.
>>
>>487445887
Oh sure, Aiza knew. But the origin of the understanding for the grav drives comes from Starborn Aiza telling each universe's Aiza how to do it. The dead Aiza of each timeline confesses at the last NASA research terminal, and the Starborn Aiza seems to be responsible for each backthrough when humanity stalls according to Judith.

Kind of a moot distinction though. Earth could still be intact for the point of not understanding the artifacts or the unity. The only explanation we get is from ourselves (maybe) and Starborn we can't really trust to understand it any better than we do.

The problem is that this requires you to read into it more than you're presented so I don't think it's true. Bethesda is VERY hamfisted about all narrative exposition being taken at face value, their audience can't be trusted to handle anything much deeper. And their writers also kinda suck if you want to be mean about it.

I’m not sure. Personally, I think the multiverse starts when Aiza and Nova Galactic launch the first successful grav jump from Luna to Jupiter, or when Aiza regained consciousness after touching the artifact he found in Mars, since he spent 12 continuous days speaking with his Unity self.

Anyway, it’s not really important. I’m honestly just plain annoyed at the genuine retards who played this game’s story once, scream that Earth being destroyed doesn’t make sense, not understanding a single damn thing when Bethesda threw every single piece of lore in their face when they visited the NASA HQ back on Earth, then going back to screaming how the story makes no sense again.

Have to wonder what's stopped any spacer from grabbing any grav drive and just removing the 'don't destroy magnetosphere' patch, creating a planet killer weapon that costs less than the price of 5 sandwiches.

Or how the Artifact was found on Mars, where Nova Galactic had it's main large ship launch facility, and Nova Galactic's main research lab was on the Moon along with it's shipyard which was in the orbit of the Moon. But the planet destroying grav drive research was done on Earth, which nobody bothered turning off for 250 years.

No hyperbole, but hardcore Bethesda fans are genuinely kind of dumb. It's the audience they've leaned into. It gives Rick and Morty vibes, how dumb people view smart people.

I really wanted to like Starfield because I like Mass Effect and Satisfactory and No Man's Sky. But it's clearly held back by this catering and it's acknowledged by people if you try to dispute any specific mechanics about the game. They just don't want any more depth.

where's my downed xenowarfare carrier with a bunch of xenomorphs bro
>>

yeah that is true, though its a nice change from just mech remains and artillery, so I would like to make some more over time. Maybe even tanks or something.

I'm just making it in the game - download the empty 1x1 habs mod, as Bethesda didn't include these in the update & most have clutter placed in the middle, then you can decorate how you like, surgical beds are in base game

Damn I forgot Titan has breathable air and is habitable. My bad.

That might be their reasoning, and I know which lines you mean. It bugs the shit out of me because it just shows how bad Bethesda is at understanding timescales. Someone in Starfield saying "I don't think Earth was real" is the equivalent timescale to an American saying "I don't think Europe was real." Yes, there's an extra degree of isolation, but it's not like the Starfield universe doesn't have schools.

They might not give a shit in general but are you going to tell me that Revolutionary War monuments aren't maintained today?

>Victor Aiza intentionally sabotaged the 1st generation grav drives to fuck up the Earth’s magnetosphere, so as to force humanity to travel across the galaxy instead of just staying in the Sol system.
So he was humanity's boomer parent kicking his 40 yo child out of the house by burning it down?

Honestly if I wasn't too lazy to do it myself, I would make a few large dome colones around earth that preserves some old earth cultures, flora and fauna.
-Las Vegas, Nevada complete with a few interactive casinos and strip clubs
-Akihabara, Japan with a bunch of anime shit and collectables
-Cincinnati Zoo showcasing cloned old earth animals with a Harambe memorial
-Great Wall of China

>>487452273
Yeah I get where you're coming from, Bethesda and timescales aren't the most logical either. I do wonder if they'd have been better off not even having earth there. Just say it exploded and have a floating rock with asteroid fields there. It was very jarring to have the whole planet sand yet somehow 1 skyscraper survives across every major city

>Some random npcs even mention they don't even believe earth existed.
So you're rationalizing the people building outposts on the Moon are just constantly chanting "dont think of earth dont think of earth dont think of earth" while they setup their habs? It has the highest POI setting in the game.
>>
It's not about NPCs not believing in Earth, Earth doesn't have any maintained settlements because all other planets were inhabited before they invented grav drives. Cydonia is as old as Victor, and the same is true for Homestead. Also transporting humans was messy. They didn't go into detail but it seems like the population has greatly plummeted and so many were left on Earth.

Earth should feature POIs but only skeletons and destroyed buildings.

The magsniper is a weird weapon which requires a pre-charge followed by a quick scope tap. The actual chargeup damage multiplier is a mistery though (normal shots are less than the base dps value but full charge might be higher). Its designed for 1 hit kill on the body with good skill perks.
Hard target its easier to use. Semi auto beowulf has higher damage per clip.

Hard Target>Magsniper>Vulture>Beowulf>The rest

Beowulf will break your stealh with the spam so it's not very reliable. Snipers are the best long range option combined with stealth perks.

I might work on this in the near future - I did see someone else post a screenshot of their own cityscapes as POIs but I dont know if they stopped working on it. I want to sort of make Earth feel like the Cosmodrome from Destiny 1. I did do that in Fallout 4 and it went well.
>>
>>487453295
Another thing is that the Sol system sucks. Resources and breathable planets are all gone so there's really no need to maintain it other than the fact that it's claimed by the UC so they have to spend money on Cydonia and New Homestead yet both are very high maintenance and don't attract tourists. A second colony war is a must, break the treaty.
>>
>>487452554
Some/many domed settlements would have been nice.

But canonically only two colony ships left earth. The Constant in 2140, before grav drives, and the Galileo in 2156 which landed on Jamison to eventuallybecome New Atlantis's slums. There was a third ship under construction but it never left the launchpad. In 2167 Solomon Coe founded Alkita from a ship launched from New Atlantis. So the richest few thousand people on Earth left the rest to die, presumably telling the masses that the third colony ship would be built any day now, just wait.
>>
>>487452554
Let go of Earth. So many planets and you chose a sand ball with terrible atmosphere.
>>
Earth is uninhabitable because any settlement that they start there is overwhelmed by all the ghosts of all the generations raise on the earth. The fact that this is stated explicitly multiple times (especially during the nasa mission) is astounding.

>But the origin of the understanding for the grav drives comes from Starborn Aiza
No.
We've never seen Starborn suck you out of time to talk to them in their time for weeks or months (idr which.)
It was an entity that took Victor's shape.
Closer to the Serpent (though to be clear I'm not claiming the serpent did this.)
