So, like everyone else, I knew about the Water Tower stage ever singe we first found out about it way back in the beta, and like everyone else, I was wondering what the fuck was taking them so long in releasing it. But now that it's out and I've actually played on it... All this time, I've always assumed the Yakko/Wakko/Dot/Pinky/Brain balloons were just background elements, something neat to look at, like Acme Labs. Something to remind one of the characters without actually using them. But now that I know the balloons are actually Poké Floats-esque platforms... Could this be why the stage took so long to come out? Could they not program the "popping balloon platform" physics correctly for the longest time?
