Just the same as you will normally trigger tornado. That Warden ascendancy point to make tinctures apply to ranged weapons not looking so bad now.Lightning strike will have a harder time having 100% uptime on being hit recently.

What is the actual process for seeing if a drop is good or not? I still struggle a lot with knowing if something is gonna be worth a lot of currency or not.I understand that step one is checking the tier of the drop and then maybe step 2 is to check if it got high resistance where chaos is the best. Besides that, you'll encounter the mechanics in maps. Learn which ones are which, and decide which ones you enjoy, then build around those. Or if you REALLY want your hand held, Harvest, Syndicate, strongboxes, and/or shrines all pair pretty well with Expedition.

Also consider elemental hit of the spectrum, it's basically the same skill that just scales bit differently and is even easier to get going. But you really can't go wrong with Lightning arrow, that shit just works.

I don't hate the campaign. I think there should definitely be some kind of gate before you get to the end game. But I do wish there were more decisions in the campaign that contributed meaningfully to your end build that might make it more interesting. Like maybe branching campaign paths that give different kinds of bonuses depending on which one you take similar to bandits but on a larger scale. Then the campaign would be part of the character building process and not a static time sink requirement.

Many other league starters require you to swap skills multiple times and press a lot of buttons, but with this one you always just click a button a shit dies, no matter at what point of your progression. In act 1 you use caustic arrow or other skill of your choice that can kill packs, then when rain of arrows becomes available towards the end of act 1 you swap to it and use it until much later in campaign when you get enough additional arrows to switch to LA. You will also use a separate ballista skill on a 3-4 link for single target to deal more damage to bosses, you just put ballistas on the ground and they autotarget everything until they expire. Then at maps after you get currency you buy ele hit of spectrum and the rest of basic gear you need for that skill and that's it. It's a glass cannon though and it's a ranged build, so don't try to facetank shit.
