ARC weapons by nature are weaker than other physical scaling weapons that go off STR/DEX, I'm exchange they get good status build-up. You should ONLY use Occult infusion on weapons with innate bleed as a result (as Occult infusion cannot use grease). The ripple blade and halberd cheat this rule however, having very high ARC scaling and the ability to use grease. Their AR is mediocre without the grease, but said grease gives them quite high status build-up and makes up for said AR putting them in class with the best Occult infused weapons.

For instance, twin moons does not jump attacks despite being in the air (at least when I tried to use it several patches ago). There are some attacks that look like they cannot be jumped but should (like Miquella's Light or Furnace Golem fire attacks). There are some ground sweeps or stomps that are low to the ground yet will still hit you if you jump and must be rolled through. And finally, there are sweeps that can be jumped, but whose follow up will hit you as you land. All of this combines together to ensure that most people will learn bad habits about dodging and completely forget the jump exists outside of jump attacking.

I think fromsoft has had a big problem with making consumable stuff worth it for a while now. The estus was such a good idea that it should've influenced everything else, but bows were still generally too weak to bother with considering magic is free every time you die. The dlc did a good job with the throwing weapons and perfume jars being infinite and costing stamina - but the problem is we won't get anymore and they won't add any to the base game. Unless we get Scholar of the First Ring, I guess.

Damage mitigation items/buffs/talismans seems almost mandatory to have a good time in a first time solo play-through. The bosses simply do too much damage too quickly without them. Tanking damage allows you to stay in a boss fight longer and see/learn their moves faster. Like let's say there's a move with difficult timings and animations that will stunlock you to death without any significant mitigation. With mitigation, you can tank three of such attacks to the face. The move is complicated, so it'll take about 9 mulligans for you to start figuring out how to consistently dodge the move. What's more fun/quicker? Dying 9 times to what feels like a cheap move to eventually learn it, or sticking in the fight and maybe learning it by your second or third attempt? Additionally, because there's less downtime, you should actually become more familiar with with less mistakes made in the second scenario overall.

The problem with skibidi fragments isn't that they exist, the problem is how fucking many you need to max out and how hard they are to find. If we look at the base game, Golden Seeds and Sacred Tears serve the same purpose. However, the base game has WAY more Golden Seeds than you need to max your flasks out and while the Sacred Tears are all mandatory pick-ups, you only need 12 and they are all easy to find since every single one is marked on the map by a church. Skibidi fragments though? There's fucking FIFTY of them, you need EVERY SINGLE ONE, and they 50% of them are so hard to find you will never get them without a guide naturally. They need to give them the Golden Seed treatment. Having 50 fragments is fine, but they should make it so you only need like 25-35, maybe 40 tops to max out. Needing all 50 the game has is ridiculous.

Make attacks - from enemies and players - have low tracking to make playstyles besides rolling more powerful. As a casual souls player I mostly struggle with the prolonged and boring fights when you are barely have any windows to attack and need to roll a barrage of 10-15 attacks without being able to do a single strike. So the most hard fights for me was a Godskin duo where I always invite friend for help. Fat Godskin/Elemer/Dragon tree sentinel was the most disgusting shit before dlc. Regular bosses was fine.
