I prefer a game like BG3 that's easy. That way you don't have the delusional FromSoft style retards that think they're so cool for beating a game that was designed to be beaten.Of course, the issue is that resource management is fucking pointless. What they did, however, is make it feel good. It's kind of like an optimization problem which is easy to clear, but you can always do better and better. Many games are like that with difficulty. You make half the difficulty yourself. And you can just slap something together if you don't feel like struggling. It's unironically the best of both worlds.I just wish there was a non-memey randomizer mod that changed the number and type of enemies. But that's a slight hassle to make, so randomizers tend to be boring or memey.
