A sex scene is just a short moment in time, it's a lot of words of no plot relevance which is damming for a system who's memory is dependent on how many words it can hold. Either you have more than 8k context so you can have your cake and eat it, or you trim out the whole scene to bring everything that happened before back into context and continue from where you left off after the sex scene.
