So yeah, I don't know ultimately what we would do and to that end, I don't know if we would be able to do Metal Virus, at least not the same way because Sage would be the one to try to talk him out of it or maybe find the flaw earlier? She would be there to check and balance Eggman whereas Starline was full-on sycophant supportive. It would definitely make a completely different dynamic. So yeah, hard to say what would have happened.
