I'm organizing a modded MC server for native Europeans, so not just for ppl who live in Europe currently.
Also for halfies, when in doubt do ask.

Modpack is Tekxit 4, newest (8.8.0), MC version 1.19.4, with big biomes, normal difficulty, and this is a offline mode server.
Can still change the modpack but it'd have to be a significant improvement and approximately the same theme / balance (e.g. tech + exploration + building allrounder).
Hosted with 20GB+ RAM and 8+ cores so perf should be adequate. The modpack took about 6.5GB on my PC for offline play, online should use less memory.

Where did you get that idea from?
Providers push to whatever's near them. They will push what they can to each inventory in sequence depending on whether it can accept items. Since molecular assemblers only accept 1 recipe's worth of items at a time, and crafting times are a couple ticks even with full acceleration cards, providers will themselves distribute crafts across adjacent molecular assemblers (or any inventory if the inventory is particularly small/limited).
This is distinct from the behavior you get when adding crafting co-processors to a crafting unit.

Optifine shaders got your FPS feeling down? The time for shaders in Angelica has finally arrived! As of Angelica beta13 (and coming up in GTNH 2.7.0) the ability to use shaders will be enabled by default. At this time, we are only officially supporting and accepting issues for Complementary(and by extension, Sampsa's), BSL(Note that the latest version 8.3 of BSL has problems and will not work at the moment), and Tea shaders. We will welcome anyone who wants to try and submit fixes for other ones, but at the moment our focus is on making those three bug free and other things within Angelica.

If you haven't yet used shaders with Angelica. You can use them by going to Options -> Video Settings and at the top right corner will be a button called "Shader Packs". This will list your installed shaders, and also give you the option to open your shader pack folder so you can install packs(just place the .zip file of shader packs into this folder). If you select shaders, you can then go into "Shader Pack Settings" to change individual settings specific to that shader.

The first time you apply a shader pack on a fresh launch of the game, it can take a while and appear to freeze while applying them. On lower end hardware, this process can take upwards of 45 seconds to 1 minute, so make sure to give it enough time to finish.

It's been a busy weekend. But, buddy of mine was bored and offered some time at my base, got the drawer wall moved over into the storage chunk. Now I just need to make the bridge thing. I made a todo list, and I've crossed some things off. Few stacks of nether quartz. An okish amount of certus. About 6.9 stacks of raw iron. My Starmetal pickaxe is nearing the end of it's life and I've switched back to a bit of copper/iron always on me to make dorf axes again. The same buddy mentioned something about possibly being able to repair it later with some thaum thing (void putty). So she'll sit in a nice box for a while.

shaders have their own shadows and lighting, independent of minecraft's own lighting engine. So even when running 24/7 night vision you still have more contrast and color difference than without shaders and smooth lighting. It doesn't look great, but it still looks better than the flat lighting you have on 1.7.
In this pic red is the shadows cast by a pillar offscreen, only seen with shaders, while blue is the unsmooth lighting being emitted from an arcane lamp.

I don't know why this simple process isn't integrated into the launchers yet.
I guess config folders are a problem. The launcher has no way of knowing whether it should default to the config of the newly created instance or if it should copy over what existed in the old instance. For example, the pack was designed to use AE2 channels but the user disabled them in their personal playthrough.
While you could checksum each file and provide a list of differences for the user to select what to carry over, the old config file may be missing new options that exist in the new file. Potentially this may cause the mod to regenerate the default config and wipe the user's changes anyway.
Datapacks are also a problem since they are a major part of modpacks now and will go through substantial changes in pack versions. Users may want to carry over their personal datapacks with minor changes across pack versions but the launcher can't really know that.

But other settings like options.txt, resourcepacks, saves would be easier to handle.

Lawnbases aren't just "a lot of open space". It includes random machines placed in random places with rhyme or reason besides "convenience at the time" with no supporting structure around them, aside perhaps from wiring/logistics.

In addition, a real industrial building will often contain more than just 1 machine. Your image demonstrates this: there are many tables with workers each working on the same thing, there are many (what I assume to me) production lines. This is also why large factorio bases become aesthetic: the mere fact of placing dozens or hundreds of machines creates patterns which leads to aesthetics, despite factorio being basically bereft of aesthetics (apart perhaps from bricks, concrete, and warning concrete).

Even a lawnbase won't look like a lawnbase if you have many of the same machines placed in an organized way around each other. But in minecraft you rarely need more than 1 of the same machine; often performance is so terrible that even trying to build a pack like that will result in poor performance.

You're right about the parallel processing, I'll go back and change a few of these LCRs to use your idea if it's still too slow. At this stage in the pack the main issues are getting everything set up since it's so many recipes, and having adequate throughput with ae2 as input busses / hatches are still somewhat limited. There's only really 3-4 recipes where they're slow enough to warrant needing more than 1 LCR.

Plenty of mods start of with tediously grinding up the crafting tree with minimal infrastructure, since it's more efficient than setting up stuff that will quickly become obsolete as you progress. The further along the tree you are before you start the more tools you have to build and the more powerful infrastructure you can create.

I think lawnbases are a extension of that, as a well laid out base is a type of infrastructure that can be put off until later, when you have tools that let you build much faster or make it better, even if it's not actually fun to do it that way. Lawnbases also have the advantage of keeping stuff close together without walls getting in the way, which makes running between all the different crafting stations quicker.

Does anyone else use TimeControl or simple day length extender? I honestly can't play Minecraft without it. The default 10 minutes of daylight is just so fucking short you can't get anything done during that time and so you constantly have to interrupt what you are doing to sleep, especially if there are phantoms. I make the days 40 minutes and night 20 minutes. It's crazy how much that alone improves the game.
