Do you ever feel like a member of your party is holding you down? I always have a lore bard or wizard in my group for roleplay/synergy purposes, they never carry their weight. 1 action per turn at level 10-12 is downright comical. I guess the silver lining is that ACT 3 is mostly dialogue and ability checks rather than fighting so I can use them to their strengths.

The only character I really have an issue with is the emperor, from a writing perspective they could have done way better. You see this in much of the media now, the way to capture the player/audience's attention is to see yourself represented through a character and their experiences. BG3 through its cast, presents a great variety of archetypes: the abused sex slave, the amnesiac whose childhood was stolen, a betrayed and disowned person, and so on. I have relived these situations over the course of the game: a big part of why I love BG3 is that, to use a fashionable term that I hate, I felt "seen" thanks to these characters.

This game gets very anticlimatic in act 3 if you have some halfway decent builds. I just killed Orin in 2 turns going in blind in Honor mode, just Hold Monster-ed here and beat her to death. She didn't even get to act once. I think I'll reload the save and play worse on purpose to at least see what she's supposed to do. They really should have made this game harder.
