Then I moved onto other titles over the years, such as Baldr Sky, Fate Stay Night, and Danganronpa, and just recently finished Higurashi, and currently am finishing up Steins;Gate.Reading translated VNs is fine for sure, because it helps you become familiar with the genre, but ultimately I find them boring compared to the original version due to how well written the untranslated versions are, especially when its a VN where knowing the characters' voices is important, like Kurokami no Meiou or Aokana. And I think thats why the best VNs arent localized yet. There's literally a whole community dedicated to translating the newest releases. If anything you'll find the untranslated ones better anyways. Even with all the great TLs ive seen, nothing compares to the original
