eBay UK is gonna kill the cheap card (and other low value item) market from private sellers next month. They're gonna add on an extra 4% of the item's original price AND a £0.75 PER ITEM so now the buyer will have to pay more arbitrarily. Not only that but sellers won't get payed until the buyer confirms arrival, so they're either gonna be forced to send shit out with tracked postage, which would be overkill for low value cards or hope the buyer doesn't scam them. I just ordered an EX Dragon Charizard holo for 150 dollars on eBay. The seller is new, but they also had a cabinet, Rayquaza ex, and Latias ex, both from the same set, for sale as well with unique pictures and slightly lower prices. He responded to my messages and even has a sleeve for the card. You think this is gonna be a scam or something? Here's a pic of the card. Usually ones that low in price look like absolute shit. The back has a little bit of wear, but no tears or creases, and the front looks great.
