So I try to use strategies, like 20 minutes productiveness, 5 minute breathers, meditation and workouts, the usual. Never had CBT, but it wasn'T that big when I was diagnosed. Could've probably helped a lot.Oh well, I just root for filian to grow from this experience without being completely ruined. I hope her friends are real friends and not just acquaintances. She'll need them.

I paid an artist for a comission over a year ago and I still keep forgetting/putting off getting in touch with them again. Once ADHD reaches a certain threshold, you can easily lose years like this. You're so fucked in terms of an attention span that you can't even focus on improving. Clueless family not noticing it definitely plays a big role in letting it get worse. Wouldn't surprise me if she meant to take care of the model rights issue, and then endlessly kept putting it off after the first couple of merch drops went fine.

>>80090663I think it's a multi-level issue, probably between time blindness, fucked executive functioning, and never having learned to prioritize and work on your tasks. I'm on meds now, but when I take them it's as easy for me to be productive as it is to spend 12 hours playing a game without getting up to drink or piss. I don't even notice until after the fact. Meds just lock me into whatever random thing my brain felt like doing. I feel like if it's not caught early enough, some people just lose the ability to prioritize tasks, "I need to do it now" doesn't exist. Everything I do is now chosen by a fucking punishment wheel in my brain. You can't fight it or change it. People who never felt it will never understand. I would 100% end up in Filian's situation if I had a model and merch.
