Back when all those impressive buildings, structures, railways, paths, farms, ASCII arts etc. were being made, were were all wondering how amazing the server would eventually become, and how all the new juniors would get introduced into minecraft like how Gen 5 was, and how they'd also build their own thing, interact with everything their senpai built, and just treat the server as a community hangout.
It's so sad that so many of the iconic things they all worked so hard to build are just... wasted away in the server now.

EN got a separate server, which got merged later on, ruining the identity of BOTH of the servers.
ID and their beautiful architecture also got merged, but it didn't really matter because they still only have 3 gens.
ReGloss is the weirdest addition and they clearly are being given a ton of backstage work, and not really encouraged onto Minecraft.
Sooo many buildings that amounted to nothing more than a curious glance in the end, Sora station, the world tree, haachama hogwarts, Aqua's underground tunnel, the fucking deep earth pit.. fuck the entirety of Aqua's minecraft tour honestly felt like looking back on the ruins of what Hololive used to be.

Pekora, god bless her soul, tried so hard keep the box together with at least one or two box events a year, even if it wasn't always with minecraft. She even tried to revive it with her construction, Warden trap etc. But after the first few weeks everyone just became "too busy" again...

It's just so frustrating to watch something you loved do the entire ship of theseus transformation before you.

Holo minecraft is a completely different beast compared to other SMPs anon.
It was essentially a socializing hub for the girls to just hang out doing some mind numbing grind while talking to their chat, and having spontaneous interactions with whoever else happened to be around.

I think the identify and box problems for JP stem from HoloX and Regloss, but I honestly don't know how to phrase it without coming off as a schizo, and while I do think that they've brought great things to Hololive (like Koyori and Chloe) I think they have done more harm than good. But I also don't believe the bad vibes the have brought to Hololive are because of their lack of struggle, Advent is a pretty good showing that you can have an incredibly babied Gen and it can still turn out great, it honestly simply down to the people they hired after Gen 5. But again, I don't know how to express it without making a case for why I should be hospitalized at a psychiatric hospital.
