Well, lizard people, well, reptilians, why worry so much about it? The spiritual seer Robert Irvin Howard wrote about the battle in antiquity between lizardmen and humans in books about Conan the Cimerian, because spirits whispered to him. Dragons have lived on this planet Earth for a long time, scientists call them dinosaurs. Of course, there were intelligent lizard people, lizardmen. Why worry so much about this? You don't panic when you see Khajiit and a lustful Argonian woman in Skyrim, do you? It seems that Yelena Petrovna Blavatskaya also wrote about the theory that lizardmen used to live on this planet.

realm knows when some event once recorded and presented digitally or through tape etc reaches you there is no way in your life you'll ever be able to verify it as fact or fiction and any form of verifiable proof will also be a digitally or third party presented proof.
Once something like that exists the realm is free to manipulate it however it wants
Digital and the internet compounds on this

that video might be entirely different for all of us from our conscious perspectives
we could each type out a description of what happens in that video as text
then hit Post.
We could have all written completely different things that match our conscious perspectives.
But the realm would manipulate each of our messages so our conscious perspectives all get the same description not to break the illusion.

The realm could be doing this in real life too every day with every interaction with people around you.
But with the internet it becomes far more efficient.

If you haven't noticed already, nobody has even bothered to type out a graphic description of what's actually happening in that video, only vague references that could apply to a lot of videos...
>>
>>41731078
tl;dr i think the purpose of the internet and digital technology inside the matrix/simulation is purely for runtime optimisation
if we sit at a computer playing a multiplayer video game instead of running around outside killing each other on a battle field it's easier on the simulation.
it would rather run low effort emulators that keep us busy than run the real thing for everyone :^)
>>
>>41731090

yeah. i feel this post goes into the right direction. people all around the world have noticed that time is, lets say, moving or behaving more differently (faster).
my theory is that
if the bulk of souls/their consciousness fields are focusing on infinity blackhole nightmare rectangle vacuum screens (tv screens are black, "smart"phones screens are black, pc monitors are black, even damn commercial screens are black, akin to the black obsidian scrying mirros in ancient times) their attention gets shifted to non-"real", nonmatters literally and metaphysically. the vacuum cleaners bag is infinite. everyone got
such a vacuum at home. and now, there is no one left (in comparsion to 200 years ago or in comparison to the majority of people nowadays) to, lets say perceive time normally again.
also have u noticed ppl all have their heads hanging down? like defeated from a war, or POW, they are returning beaten.
it disgusts me by the multitudes. i cant even find a girl, they all sit in their phones. out of spite i dont take one with me

> how do you even know the part with being angry
personal experience
> please explain?
being angry helps because your mind is automatically put into a semi-lucid state where making decisions becomes easier.
the thought of imminent death pisses us off, it’s a major component of survival - basically, you just “decide” to live.
to paraphrase the Art of War, you never back an enemy into a corner or they’ll go full sparta and fight with the fire of 1000 suns to prevail and defeat you, no matter how many dudes you have
> the other thing is, not wasting a single thought on possibilities, so things dont even edge into your mind.
yeah you’re spot on, i agree with this but for me it’s a little different - most of the NDEs i had involved a completely lucid state where I knew my actions were directly linked to my survival, where I completely accepted the possibility of my death, i just chose not to (and yes, i was pissed while it was happening). it was very “there is no spoon” and i could see myself interacting with the fabric of reality to get myself out of a situation like a violent car crash that would have certainly killed me if i did nothing. that’s quantum immortality- pinpointing the location of your possible death and deliberately jumping to a completely different conclusion by simply knowing you can. in other words, every single time i emerged from wreckage unscathed it was because I decided to.

Incorrect. For ANY circle of ANY dimensions, c/d has the same value, which is pi. It is a fundamental geometric constant.

>>41733068
All circles are the same by definition. There is only one kind of circle. They only vary in dimensions as you said and c and d both increase proportionately to each other so pi doesn't change.

it was pure luck. The only reason the epistemic community of money lenders are where they are was information asymmetry after the battle of Waterloo. And when the last 210 years have shown one thing, then that their community is littered with failures and incompetent ideologues that have done more damage to humanity than 1200 years of the church being at the top of the epistemic food chain.

Would there be a way to do this permanently? Like replacing your younger self’s consciousness with your current one’s? Or by merging them somehow?
>>
I have precognitive dreams but they're usually pretty insignificant. On the other hand they are a good reminder for me not to take the simulation so seriously. An example from yesterday, I had a dream that I was talking to a friend about music and I asked him if he was a fan of 'Doctor Demento' and in the dream my friend got offended. A few hours later I got up and went to a flea market 45 minutes from my home and while looking at vintage T-shirts on a rack I saw a 1980's iron on T-shirt with none other than 'Doctor Demento' on it. I am not a Doctor Demento fan, I've never heard his radio show or seen him on TV or anything. I don't know much about 'Doctor Demento' aside from the fact that he was a radio host in the 70's or 80's that played novelty music and satirical songs. He was already off the airwaves by the time I was born. This seems like a totally meaningless precognition dream to me but they happen all the time.

I think what matters most is that you have an "anchor point" in time. Meaning both moments in time have to be deliberate and connected, for example with a strong memory. To send a message to your future self you'd have to have an emotional connection to a moment that hasn't happened yet. I don't know how you would do that.
I never really meditated on this as a kid or adult, so I don't think it's connected to meditation necessarily.

One key is realizing that whoever is the strongest gets to rule over the weak and meak. You may not be in control of the physical laws, but you will be in control of the physical environment which relies on the physical laws to exist and you will have dominion over that physical space and you will be able to do what you want with the physical resources available. In human terms? If you were the strongest person alive and unkillable then you would be kind of like a god and you would be able to take down the globohomo system or takes charge of it for yoursef. You would be able to rule over the globohomo. Let's get crazy and say that somehow you bocome stronger than God then you would be able to make God your little bitch, You would be able to trap God inside some kind of world you create just for Him and you would be able to fuck with Him whatever you wanted. You could even rape God if you wanted, why not? You are stronger than Him. It's not like there are some kind of thing which would limit you. Somehow you became stronger than God so God is your bitch now. Personally? I would make God look so weak and pathetic. I may be prijecting here, but I would totally make God look weak at the eyes of everyone who once feared Him. All those silly christians and shit. I would rape God right in front of them and teach them a lesson.

>When a monk utters words about knowing & developing, saying, ‘I know this Dhamma; I see this Dhamma; I am developed in body, developed in virtue, developed in mind, developed in discernment,’ but he remains conquered by greed, conquered by aversion, delusion, anger, hostility, hypocrisy, spite, selfishness, evil envy, or evil longing, then it should be known of him that, ‘This venerable one does not discern how it is that, when one discerns, greed does not come into being, which is why he remains conquered by greed. This venerable one does not discern how it is that, when one discerns, aversion… delusion… anger… hostility… hypocrisy… spite… selfishness… evil envy… evil longing does not come into being, which is why he remains conquered by evil longing.

>And how is one developed in body and developed in mind? There is the case where a pleasant feeling arises in a well-educated disciple of the noble ones. On being touched by the pleasant feeling, he doesn’t become impassioned with pleasure, and is not reduced to being impassioned with pleasure. His pleasant feeling ceases. With the cessation of the pleasant feeling there arises a painful feeling. On being touched with the painful feeling, he doesn’t sorrow, grieve, or lament, beat his breast or become distraught. When that pleasant feeling had arisen in him, it didn’t invade his mind and remain because of his development of the body. When that painful feeling had arisen in him, it didn’t invade his mind and remain because of his development of the mind. This is how one is developed in body and developed in mind.

>>41732467
you develop deep levels of samadhi using the breath for samatha practice in order to make the mind refined and powerful. then this refined, powerful, peaceful mind can be applied towards insight. this is the actual, core teaching of early buddhism. hence samatha-vipassana is a thing and buddha didn't say to not cultivate levels of jhana/samadhi, rather he said that when the dharma declines, samadhi will no longer be encouraged. we are in the age of decline hence hillside hermitage, pure land practice, dry insight movement, etc. you quote thanissaro bhikkhus translation on here all the time, you should look into what he has to say on this subject and consider leaving the dry insight ideology, it's not serving you. just trying to help you because you seem like a sincere seeker and i think you've fallen prey to a false teaching. hillside hermitage have committed many years of their life to vipassana-only ideology, they won't give it up, you don't have to go further down that path. monks and abbots that don't seem happy or peaceful shouldn't be followed, and if seem upset and angry for some reason... its bc theyre doing something wrong.. in hillside hermitages case its this 'avoid samadhi and deeply concentrated states' ideology. hope you can exit that cult.
>>41732154
dry insight monks teach a contrived form of jhana, they redefine it to fit their vipassana-only ideology. some even say 'jhana just means meditation, all meditation is jhana'
