I've been praying to Silvanus before hikes lately. I try to make a sacrifice of oats and mead to him on Sunday evenings as well. The first time I did, it was before a wild hike I went on. Went off trail (no trails anywhere where I live), trekked through the creek for a few hours, and then climbed out of the gulch straight up a steep hill.
