No amount of discussing his actions or reminding him to make better decisions makes any difference. It's because there's no conscious thought going on once he goes full meltdown mode. He just becomes an automoton obeying the whims of his subconscious. I believe he's a new soul and has a ton of angst and lack of understanding about power dynamics(i.e. "WHY DO WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW?!? WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO MAKE ME LEAVE?!?!"), and so the only possible hope I have to rectify this behavior in him is to get him into meditation so he can dissolve the subconscious block that's causing it.I have more reasons for believing all this, like the fact that I had severe ocd for 4 years that I couldn't consciously resist no matter how hard I tried, and completely cured it by delving deep into my subconscious, but I'll leave it here for now.
