I remember reading some of this like 10years ago. It had great art but was kind of rambling. Is it worth rereading/finishing?

Yeah their entire story goes nowhere and meant nothing because the entire setting and conflict violently shifts gears like a shounen manga. A bunch of shit keeps happening, characters go through the wringer, and everything starts to feel a bit miserable because it's all insanity all the time with little in the way of more even keeled emotional scenes before it's on to the next wild bit of nonsense.It's a fine read, but it's not got much going for it beyond the art and a certain factor of "where on earth is this shit going now?"

Just watched both these movies and I was surprised at how expressive the animation was, the small movements were really well done and I don't think I've ever really seen something like it in other animated movies.
