I don't get it, i was expecting early season Venture Bros fun, why /co/ hyping this so much??
>>152097238Check out the episodes written by Evan Dorkin.
>>152099739While I think Space Ghost Coast to Coast is funny, I'll cop that the spinoffs and things I've seen people compare it to are far better overall. The Brak Show found better footing using their reimagining of the Space Ghost characters in an absurdist domcomATHF is much more creative and funny in general while looking cheap as fuckHarvey Birdman Attorney at Law is better at repurposing the Hanna Barberra characters better as their own weird spinoff universeAnd Venture Bros does a better job at doing the "What if the old hanna barbera action show heroes were also dumb everyday schlubs" premise while being its own thing/And you're right, another animated adaptation of The Tick would kick ass.
>>152099739given the way you type and ramble you might just be a simpleton>Srsly god damn we need another tick animation done by the venture bro crew. Funny thing is Ben Englund actually wrote for Venture Bros too.

Sokka is so lucky
>>152097120>>152099406>I wonder how differently the show would have gone if Sokka just lost it and raped Azula herefixedher smug ass deserved it
>>152101684The question is would she start acting like a girl being raped or would she keep up a mask of "Totally my plan to have a Water Tribe mongrel drown my Fire Cervix in his baby batter," only losing her composure in private later.
>>152096665Zuko has no game, Sokka has all the baddies lusting after him
>>152102101Zuko has more game than Sokko because he kicks ass
>>152103992Zuko is a pathetic piece of shit and Aang solos him.
Just watched both these movies and I was surprised at how expressive the animation was, the small movements were really well done and I don't think I've ever really seen something like it in other animated movies.
>>152102428>Toonar's drawn pics of Wolf fucking Diane up the pussyVery nice.
>>152102335The first Zootopia had novelty going for it because it was new. Zootopia 2 took the amazing setting of the first movie but they basically used it to tell the same story over again. Zootopia 2 pretty much follows the same story beats as the first movie with a few minor deviations here and there.
>>152103918>used it to tell the same story over again. In other words you didn't watch the movie. No it doesn't. You are a fucking retard.
Wrestling with Kitty to decide who's on top (you always "lose" so she rides your cock cowgirl style)
>>152104040Try watching it again with a critical mindset and it's pretty obvious that it's following the same formula as the first movie, to the point that the movie even tries to lampshade just how closely they are following the beats of the first movie.
>tfw Frankie used to be the cool older girl to you but now she's the hot younger chick
>>152094057That's kinda hot.
>>152102551Before and after getting pregnant by Bloo.
>>152093870I remember watching fosters home with my friend and she said “hey frankie kinda looks like you” cause my hair is red and I had it in a ponytail that day, which was funny because she doesn’t know that like Frankie, I too am extremely lustful for shota cock at all times
>>152096598DOB means Date of Birth. And if we consider that year this came out as the year the show takes place in, then she'd be 20 during that time.
>>152104018She's 22.
Comfy discussion for Tangled the movie, the series, and all things Rapunzel!Previous: >>151835257
>>152101470He is so cool. Like Mozenrath
>>152102263Eh, I confess Season 2 is my favorite and I think that's where the show peaks. The twists and turns were actually pretty well-done, it's not Season 2's fault that Season 3 doesn't stick the landing Season 2 set up.Cassandra's betrayal legitimately took me by surprise because the final episodes do a good job head-faking you into thinking it's a more metaphorical betrayal by Eugene instead. Also the Great Tree episode was peak, Demanitus was peak, everything was peak. Season 2 ruled.
>>152103070I hated Eugene being a moon kingdom prince. I liked him better when he was an every dude instead of the chosen one.
>>152102263>>152103070I don’t think any season beats the consistency humor, charm and raw romantic chemistry of the og movie. The show, even at its best was pretty hit or miss with the writing. Especially regarding certain character actions/decisions
>>152103285Its also a different Rapunzel. Show Rapunzel is far more confident and confrontational than movie Raps who is constantly scared.
Would you mind pointing those things in another direction?
>>152102309>hey don't block my shade>hold the lemonade>and maybeeee>someone could turn down the sun (sun, sun, sun)

>>152101421Bayformers has some of the best cg fights I’ve seen in a movie
>>152101421"We will kill them all" is underrated.
Bayformers Optimus is a perfectly valid take on the character, and I'd argue that in Dark Of The Moon and Age Of Extinction he even gets some nice characterization. It's funny how the guy who made Bad Boys and Armageddon unwittingly gave us what's probably the most grimdark take on Transformers ever. The setting is practically post-apocalyptic from the Cybertronians' perspective. I can't really blame Optimus for having more than a little bit of an edge in this setting given the circumstances.
>>152102229Peter Cullen hated that line. You're not a Transformers fan if you like that line

Not going to do a "was it good" thread, because it was.But how long did it STAY good? What was the point where it overstayed its welcome?
>>152093106This is known. Jackie Chan barely understands any English, you wouldn't think so watching his movies but it turns out he just memorizes how his english lines sound and repeats them. If you pull up blooper reels/outtakes from any of his movies you'll se this in full effect, he'll often use the wrong word or botch the pronunciation on things
>>152103633Weird, considering how long he worked in English movies
>Thread up since last Thursday>No drawfriendsOof.
>>152103633Well that's just nonsense, he's done interviews with talk show hosts. There's clips of him responding to ambush-questions on red carpets or getting called on during awards ceremonies. He can hold a reasonably-paced conversation provided you don't use thesaurus words. And I'm willing to bet he's pretty decent at guessing from context if he doesn't know the exact word.I wouldn't invite him to give the commencement speech at any schools, but he's not "just memorizes the sounds of the script without knowing the meaning" bad by any stretch of the imagination. He DID say he didn't understand a word that Chris Tucker said, because Tucker went off-script and talked FAST in an accent Jackie wasn't at all used to hearing. But as he told Tucker, his English is better than his Tucker's Chinese.
It might not be Friday, but lets have the final big titty thread of the 2025.

>>152097079she mentioned being trans offhandedly at the end of the mini. it's maybe three panels at the end of a 120 page miniseries. did you even read it? because it's the anti-nazi and anti-nazi-adjacent activism that's her whole personality, and it's really obvious.
>>152104181>>darvoWhere?>>delusionsYou "people" have your shit in preschool shows. Again, the fucking gall.>the simultaneously powerless and all powerful enemy otherYes, not all of you actually work for those media companies that lock-step promote you as some oppressed underclass. I wonder why they don't bring it up more often...>>persecution complexWhen persecution is happening, where the fuck do you get off calling it a complex?
>>152084100IDK, but I think if they just did a better design with this character and was just more subtle with it, maybe it wouldnt be so bad?For me, I havent seen enough of the comic of the hcaracter but mainly the design isn't eye catching to me and I dont mean looking sexy, could look like Damian Wayne with tits and lipstick....don't think to hard on that idea, lol.I assume trans folk want to be well known but it better to be subtle and not way out in the opening for these things.
Was rapist Quagmire a good bit? Do you miss this gag?
>>152101024It’s kind of funny occasionally when it was a bit on the old school amoral womanizer character who didnt have an issue slipping an “aphrodisiac” at worst but when the joke is just rape it comes off as really lazy shock jock “comedy”
00s edge was a little too far but we've way overcorrected in the 10s and 20s. Now everything has to be fucking safe, it's lame.
>>152101024>Do you miss this gag? That's what he said.
>>152103155Yeah I still remember Quagmire 1,000 sexual conquest. A trip "inside Quagmire house" is basically a date rape ride. The girls from thailand are so young Peter tells them they should leave.
>>152104049Quagmire straight up having sex slaves. Peter offering to go after them only for Quagmire to just say they're tagged.

>DC You>Creator-driven initiative with an emphasis on variety>FailsWill Next Level follow the same path?

I got into DC with Rebirth, seeing Next Level discourse and it's mostly people crossing fingers for their favorite B-Lister getting a new bookWas DC You anticipation like that?
>>152100091I enjoyed that Starfire run
>>152103933Not really, I think people knew it was always going to be smaller scale, just a push with a few new books
>>152103032It feels like "creator-driven" and "handling the mainline continuity of the most popular established characters" is already a contradiction explaining why this didn't work out well for half the titles. The best creator driven stuff is the stuff where the writer gets to go insane with a character who hasn't been very well established or developed to the audience
