I feel like more Two-Face stories should focus on the status quo where Dent is the "mediator" or in some cases equalizer between criminal organizations in Gotham. Meeting of mob families, and/or villains? You call Two-Face to organize the sit down and security since he's true neutral. Dishing out justice to keep the shaky peace between criminal power players? You call Two-Face. Because its business, and sometimes you need that impartial party.Also I want Sugar and Spice to be his canon girlfriends.

Adding Squidward to the mix sullies this, because he is an outside observer to the Spongebob/Patrick dynamic, so instead of having Spongebob himself realise how stupid him and Patrick are, you'd have Squidward constantly saying it until it sinks or worse, have them blindly ignore Squidward and still do dumb stuff. In other words, Squidward changes the dynamic too much for the same emotional beats to work.
