When people do horrible things or admit to having horrible ideas, the merit of any good idea they have is permanently tainted by association and you have to reevaluate how sincerely they hold those ideas and find some way to push them out of your own brain.
YMS is a zoophile, and he refuses to apologize for being one. Stop watching his videos.
>>
>>153072031
>good idea
The Kimba thing isn't an idea, it's an empirical fact with mountains of evidence behind it.
You lost.

Without going into too much detail, but regarding the subplot of the drops, while they do begin to develop consciousness and want to forge their own path, the resolution, like the drama itself, feels too forced, exaggerated, and overly condescending(and more well-meaning than benevolent) towards them despite creating conflicts or disasters in the lives of the guardians...

And I even dare to say it, but in the animated series, "H of Hunted" the episode, I feel that the astral drop Will's conflict was handled well, or at least in execution.

It's what happens when you have a bunch of teenagers capable of creating temporary clones, but without having the clones experience the stakes and harships and mature situations that the real ones are experiencing and using to grow.

H for Hunted is fucking lame, and I much prefer the comics.

I can't believe with all the tech and improvements we got in all these years they still managed to make the girls look even more bland.

Most cities have 'gay districts'. Castro Street, Greenwich Village, Loring Park etc.

What is Gotham City's gay area?

>Best guess the 'Bunley harbour' is all of the little boatslips alogn the Sprang River, with the upscale ats district ont he west end, and the seedier on the east side near the Sprang Bridge.
You have the class politivcs backward.
Amusement Mile by the Sprang Bridge is where the Rogers Yacht Basin is located. The richies part ont he east with access to the ocean, and the poors are to the West qitrh the arts district.

The Time Drake: Robin comic mentions Moench Row as beinng near the Marina, meaning Tim's down-market marina isn't in the Bunley Marina arts district -- it's near Amusment Mile on the east side of Gotham. Home to amusement parts, shuttered warehouses and squatter's flats, high-toes marinas for the super-wealthy... and little pocket marinas liek the one Tim lives in.

I don't think anyone in Gotham cares if you suck cock as long as you aren't planning to become a supervillain with a cock sucking gimmick who robs the Gotham Museum's display of ancient dildos or something.

If they had a sixth, I guess it would be Arcade?
>>
If a villain team is just a bunch of villains thrown together for no real reason except to oppose a hero/hero team then it's worthless. There has to be interplay between the villains for it to be a worthwhile inclusion in a story.

If villains are teaming up you want to see their ideologies and personalities clash or mesh. You want to know about more specific reasons about why they would team up with the others beyond 'to get the heroes'.

So the better ones off-hand would be, like, the Sinister Six or Flash's Rogues, since they all typically play off of each other rather than just being there.

The problem with Frank Castle is that turning him into this relentless emotionless machine turns him into a boring plot device like character and you have to create a world around him that has depth and personality with interesting characters and Born fails miserably at this.
The "twist" might have been novel at the time, but Frank being deranged is so ingrained him him and the general consciousness that focusing so much on trying to surprise you with the revelations ends up falling flat. Comparing it to Berserk isn't doing it any favors because that one is significantly better than this short mini. The ending is supposed to be disturbing but you see it from a mile away. Reading this comics feels like going through the motions.
The only thing that could come as a shock while reading it is that it's not as intentionally goody as Welcome Back Frank and his run on the proper Punisher title but those are just stupid as fuck, Born and Max are just lacking in substance.
Also, Born could've used a better moodier artist, Robertson is one of those guys I have no idea how he got famous, he has this boring realistic art style that makes regular house style artists look stylized, his layouts are standard and he's not even have a huge array of facial expressions in his bag.

I've never heard about this before, only knew about the failed Youngblood cartoon (in addition to the never-produced Youngblood video game and Youngblood feature film).
>>
>>153071423
There was going to be a Cyberforce cartoon in the mid-90s, as part of an Image hour that was going to have Youngblood. That was also why there was a bunch of Mattel Cyberforce toys at that time. The project fell apart after Fox made a deal with Saban that meant it could only air Marvel superhero cartoons only (remember at the time Saban was producing the Marvel cartoons on Fox) and not superhero cartoons from rival companies

honestly, if anything, it's like the opposite of "adulting sucks amirite". most of those kinds of people indulge in "fandom" and fictional stuff like Disney or the MCU, SubparGeekGirl is like directly parodying those kinds of people and showing how emotionally immature they really are and how horribly depressing that devotion and obsession is

The deconstruction of superheroes is the most overused and predictable trope in comic book history. From watchmen to invincible, and all that crap inbetween by obsessed tryhards like garth ennis, warren ellis and rick veitch. How come this shit still sells, after 50 years of shameless uninventiveness?
