My main problem with TADC is how safe edgy it all is. It’s not like Harlan Ellison’s "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" at all. Gooseworx is such a pusscake. He says this show is IHNMAIS but it fails to tackles any of the issues that book/vidya did. No rape, no gore, no commentary on war. It’s just "tee hee, what if this AI man took me from my home, changed my name and turned me into a doll :3" it’s an autistic autogynephiles fanfic of IHNM. Harlan Ellison wrote of true, real world suffering. Why do this? To be edgy? No! That story was based off an actual murder that occured in New York at the time. Ellison wanted to capture the desolate feeling of living in the city at the time, so he wrote about it. Meanwhile Goose is telling his fanbase not to make the negros in the fandom feel uncomfy. For comparison, Ellison called black sci fi author Tempest Bradford nigger. This show? It’s so afraid to be real. A show copying a show. Creative inbreeding. The edgiest thing it covers is suicide. Jax lying that Ragatha told Gangle to kill herself. Funny that the tranny puts themes of suicide in their work. Speaking of that, Goose’s brand of edge seems to be "its ok to say offensive stuff if I am the source of mockery". For example, Zooble’s entire existence serves as a tranny allegory.
