>maids left when the thread was unusable, and this somehow adds to the theory
It's literally because of people like you that the regdumper schizo had attention and kept posting
You engrandize and create an entire lore for some random rude/arrogant person that would repost their project because they had nothing better

The board is the way it is because the average tourist is unable to give positive attention to good things, instead they enter in some sort of loop like:
>OOHH IN TARNATION HOW FOUL AND VILE THIS POSTER IS HE'S THE BANE OF THE BOARD THE DESTROYER OF THREADS
And thanks to how americans are unused to giving threats, they even add something like

So, it happened AGAIN. We can blame paper launches, we can blame scalpers, we can praise AMD's efforts but the truth is it's simply not enough. MSRP, steam survey figures, you name it, it all stinks.
Don't get me wrong, I still have full faith in Lisa Su and the lads, but MASSIVE restockings are desperately needed in September. Otherwise I'm not very optimistic about the RX 9070 GRE, or it outselling the RTX 50 Supers for that matter. Not shipping like this. What do you think, /pcbg/? #RadeIN or #RadeOUT?

Amd should quit the GPU market, fixing driver issues for 10 years and still no equivalent to CUDA. utterly pathetic. dont tell me "theyre fixed now" i had horrible issues on day1 games 5700xt and 7900xtx. last time i had no driver issues was the HD6950. switched to nvidia never looking back but the poors can keep coping

do you expect them to just stop developing graphics altogether?
if anything they're rushing udna because rdna got them in this mess, they tried to compete with the 3090 and they lost on features, so the 4090 had no competitor and rdna4 is low effort and monolithic

Much smaller ecosystem. The sad reality is that React is the only ecosystem that matters, although if you're willing to suffer a bit in that regard Vue is still a great option (I still hate what they did with 3 but it was inevitable if they were to stay relevant). Other frameworks are only good for hobby projects or huge companies with NIH and salaries based on closed tickets.

You won't write efficient DOM redraws by yourself and you won't have the benefit of libraries and UI kits that do exactly the thing you need without having to spend half a year implementing just that thing alone.
Of course you don't always have to use a framework, if you're writing a simple webpage with a single page's worth of JS code, then vanilla all the way.

To a large degree that's probably true but I see job adverts from companies using Angular as well. Maybe it's like 80% React, 10% Angular, and 10% other assorted frameworks.

Because unlike lossy webp, lossy avif doesn't have that retarded problem where it gives you a file bigger than the jpeg. Ironically lossless avif gives you a bigger filesize than lossless webp.

Jpeg xl is trying to fix this but there some images will still result in smaller file sizes via AVIF so it looks like we're practically speaking, stuck with both.

Yeah, the left was pretty quiet about the jews before Orange man took over. They only started going against themselves afterwards.
Still, I don't understand why Americans aren't doing anything.
Remember when the Jews controlling America was a conspiracy meme? They're now known to be paying some middle east country billions of dollars of tax payer money every year doing what exactly?
>but muh muslim invasion of the west
Do they not realize why refugees exist? America and Israel has been attacking them non-stop in their country which caused them to move to the West. Seems pretty poetic that they're taking over the West after you ransacked their shithole country.
I think the biggest coincidence is all these censorship policies, digital IDs, verification laws and internet control has been accelerated to the front ever since the conflict started.
I think they didn't expect people to go against Israel. It's both tragic and amusing to see them panic this hard.

Is there a guide on how to install Guix with nonguix packages right away but using the latest upstream Guix installation image? (not one of the prepared images from system crafters or nonguix, or generating one with nonguix myself from an already running guix system)
Or maybe you guys can just help me out: If I add the nonguix channel during installation after writing my config, it will fail and tell me not enough disk space. Probably because it tries to "guix pull" with the new channel and obviously there isn't the space for that on the installation medium itself.

Or is first time install including nonguix linux kernel etc. really only possible if I have an installation image that comes with a cow-store that has nonguix in it?

Thanks for links but that is not my question.
I know how to create a nonguix installation image myself from an already running Guix system and use that to set up a system. And the System Crafters guide to set up a system also depends on a prepared nonguix image.
I do have a running system with nonguix.

My question is specifically whether I can boot an official upstream image without nonguix and during the install make it use the nonguix channel for installation, without downloading a prepared image or preparing one myself beforehand.
As I am running into the mentioned problem trying that.

I think you can get a modified breeze theme without the shadow directly from that "get new" button on the system settings page, search for "no shadow" there

What do you mean anon? Is it the text formatting?
I'm sorry, but I don't really understand, I try to stay away from reddit as much as I can and I'm generally not too keen on mimicking reddit-style writing.

If you mean it as in posting my issue on a tech-related or Linux-related subreddit, then I'm afraid you're out of luck as I have no desire to create an account on that site. I had one briefly many years ago, but I deleted it when I saw the site was going to shit. However, you are correct in saying that if I did so, my solution would be way more visible on the internet.
Your suggestion is reasonable, so I will consider the possibility of creating an account on the Arch forum in the near future (I dislike everything requiring an account, as creating one often requires giving lots of personal information nowdays).
>>
>>106483209

This is a VERY subjective thing anon. Just go to the "Global Theme" and "Get new", and sort by downloads.
To me, the default "Breeze Twilight" theme is the best. But I prefer light mode over dark mode (for content).

>posterity's sake
>Oh well, if anyone else will have this specific problem in the future
Yeah, just anywhere that the search engines will scrape and return as results near the top. Arch forums are good too. 4chan doesn't really appear as search result for problems and solutions.

Theoretically, can you completely de-India your computer by only using software without any Indian commits? Linus removed all Russian code from the Linux kernel, so something like this is certainly doable.

What's a good base to start with for building a non-Indian OS under a free licence? Arch?

I think it's just a transpiler where you write code that makes sense to you with sensical names, and then before deploying it you run it through an obfuscator that switches the names of variables and ids around to something that is harder to understand. Computers don't care because they just match name to name and id to id no matter what they are, only humans will be confused what the "meaning" of it all is.

that random css names is a sign of shitty (bloated) website
the other sign are shadow dom elements
and custom elements that reimplement normal elements with shitty custom javascript that breaks accessibility
and scroll hijacking
and custom smooth scroll
and infinite scroll
and virtual scroll elements which break mouse "lock to scroll" bindings and extensions like vimium, because the element has pseudo content inside which is replaced as one scrolls with their horrible implementation so for anything else that scrolls it seems to have nothing to scroll and justs scrolls by a tiny bit and stops
this is pure cancer, as with every custom element they think they reimplemented the custom behavior because they implemented arrow keys and page up, page down...
javascript was a mistake
and the so called controlled inputs that updates the state as you type, eats and loses the input you have typed, because you have typed it too fast for that retarded implementation...
the only sensible implementation is to wait until the user stops typing for some time, updating state on keydown or keyup is jeet tier
honestly why do they even write controlled inputs is a mystery to me, it doesn't do anything good but fucks everything up for the user

Where do you go to discuss computer systems, coding and all sorts of fun hobbies? It can't possibly be here only. There must be a better community that's more /g/ than /g/

Did you just correct a spelling error "for the win" instead of posting feet?
