It's over for optical media on PC, isn't it?
Buffalo promises to keep creating them for the American market, but it's only a matter of time.

They've already been selling for over 200 dollars regularly here, I guess this explains the recent discounted sale of the Verbatim drive too.

The real issue is the lack of writing and reliability.

Can you even flash the slimline ones?

This major is only worth it if you're like the top 10% of candidates while the rest of the 90% of CS graduates will end up working at McDonald's. All your hopes and dreams, all your effort towards this major, all of it flushed down the shitter while stuck with thousands of dollars of debt.

It's over, every normie in this field is utterly fucked.

How?
Elon was supposed to be a benevolent funder, then tried to lord his money over the project to take it over, then pulled out when told no.
With no funding, Sam was forced to turn it into a business, and thanks to him was able to see the project out through to completion and revolutionize the world.

it's not 1bit, it's literaly inferencing by reading from ssd lol.
you can run a 1T model on a raspberry pi if you are willing to wait a long time lol

you are a retard, llama.cpp isn't python.
the reason ai run slow is because the bottleneck is memory bandwidth.

also python inference code generaly just calls c++ anyway, it's not bottlenecking shit.

More like 5070, which is still impressive, and it doesn't change the fact that Nvidia knows how much normies are attached to their branding so they don't actually understand that a mobile 5090 = 5070 due to limitations of the laws of thermodynamics. A good example of that is how the 5080 is half of the 5090 which is the biggest SKU cut in history, and the normies won't know they're getting less value compared to what Nvidia offered in the previous generation because they only look at that third number. Not to mention how 3090 = 4070Ti = 5070. Nvidia is getting greedier and greedier with their lower SKU's.
