I moved to Japan/Tokyo area, and I'm looking for a good hifi tube setup.
I want a turntable and a good disk player that can play hi fidelity formats.
So far the only Japanese brands I'm settled on are an Audiotechnica turntable but I am clueless on tube amps and receivers.

>>107568333
Well I do, I wanted a /g/ opinion. Also most of the people I with aren't audiophiles, which is ironic because I'm a sonar analyst.
Its also super overwhelming, I went to electric city in Akiharaba and it just not the place to be unless you know your shit.
So far the only tube amps made in Japan I know are Luxman and SunAudio. I'm also looking for something used/vintage.
I have stack of magic eye sound level tubes and I've been getting into tube eletronics lately, I'm bulding a magic eye tube sound level bar that looks really nice.

Tubes are a meme. What's the amp even for? Speakers? They'd better have high sensitivity, because most tube amps don't have much power.

If you let a company crawl through your home, map every corner of your life, all because you couldn't spare ten minutes a week with a vacuum… well… you get what you get. And you earned it.
>>
>>107570178
It takes a lot more than 10 minutes to vacuum my home. I am not too worried about US agencies knowing my floor plan, they have other and even more precise ways to obtain those. I am more worried about China and find it puzzling that media was able to go so deeply into TDS that they didn't cover this. Even the comments and fora relating to those articles are completely lost though here we can blame the wumao.

In any case, I use my Roomba in darkness. I can tell it struggles with the SLAM since it rarely finds its way back to the docing station, and then only by random.

Currently, dumb investors are putting all their eggs in one basket, like AI, without realizing that without a technical breakthrough that overcomes current AI limitations, the AI bubble will burst. If jobs replaced by AI that require expensive computing power, it will be unsustainable

>I am not familiar with snaps but I seriously doubt they are on the same level security wise as running the browser in a jail on FreeBSD or running them on OpenBSD with pledge/unveil built in.
I don't know about BSD's thing, but Snaps offer a similar level of isolation than Firejail.

Firejail runs an userspace sandbox while AppArmor runs acess control directly at kernel level. For your regular usage I don't think there's much of a difference but theoretically AppArmor's access control should be harder to bypass since the kernel itself is controlling all access from any process related to a specific program.

Bear in mind that AppArmor competes with SELinux and not with Firejail. They're just different things.

Firefox under Snap has no access to the filesystem besides ~/Downloads by default and even that can be restricted.
>>
>>107568349
