Ok this shit barely works anymore
I will fully admit I roughouse my bag a bit, but the same bag has a laptop inside. I'm not literally throwing it around. Literally 1 week in and the plug is barely working

Faulty unit or shitty product?
I also seem to have found out why my laptop becomes slow when using certain chargers despite supporting 45w.
It seems to only like 20V/2.25A charging, where it sits below 2A to get around 40W, but some chargers like to do do 15V/3A charging. The 15V/3A rate causes it to slow down instantly seemingly

Some woodworking stuff arrived last week, tested it out with a few hours of sanding, here's my review:
>vertical clamps
they're not exactly premium looking or feeling, but they're not bad either, especially for ~7€ a piece. My German Bessey one-handed clamps (made in China) or my German Festool or Bosch T-track clamps (made in Vietnam, probably both from the same factory, as the only difference is the color of the handle and that festool has their logo printed on the handle quite nicely) look and feel nicer, but not that much nicer. Those are somewhat of a different beast, since one-handed and T-track needs some kind of precision, so it's not 100% comparable, but still, assuming they hold up to my abuse (I think they will), I love them. 4/5
The horizontal clamps on the other hand work, but here their price (~4€) really shows. It's a steel threaded bar, directly into an aluminum piece, that's probably not gonna work for long, especially since you've got to really tighten them in order to work. Also, they've got somewhat of a tendency to work themselves up, so I've already sanded a good part of the nice, red elox away.
And at the locations where the tread goes through the Al and where it's attached to the clamping blocks, there's small Al, steel and chrome plating shavings piling up, which you don't really want to have, when you're trying to sand some nice furniture.
All in all, as said, they work and they are cheap, but I won't buy them again. 3/5
But what else to get? https://bessey.de/en-gb/bessey-tool/products/clamping-tools/clamping-elements-for-multifunction-tables/horizontal-fixture-clamp-wns-set-mft is probably fantastic, but I can't really justify the price for /diy/ use.
Oh, and that dowel jig?
Arrived quickly, haven't tried it yet. 5 out of 5 stars!!!1!! *emoji*

Other than requiring a government-issue ID, is there a socio-technical way to ensure the content is posted by a human?
I want to create my own forum, with blackjack and hookers, with zero bots. But even if I personally invite known humans to it, as long as the users also can invite others it is possible that they'll "invite" bots. Is there a way to prevent that?
>>
>>107545311
I would help you but idk what is a forum with blackjack and hookers, never seen something like that

Just IP rangeban Russia, India, China, Israel and the entire continent of Africa. The creatures dwelling there are not humans in the first place, so nothing of value will be lost.

The only way you can truly make sure there are no bots on your forum, is by knowing either directly or indirectly who each account belongs to.
I've been hosting a phpBB forum for my friends for 13 years now, and every registered new user is either vetted by me or vouched by someone I personally know. The forum obviously doesn't have an open registration system and we have around 50 users.

Stagflationary economies with aging populations tend to go all in on automation/robotics memes.
It’s out of desperation to save the country from its lopsided age demographics.
When Japan had their big stagflation moment in the 90s they went all in on robots as well which is why there was such an AI/robotics crazy that happened in japan shortly after. (Think hatsune miku, ASIMO, etc.)
The western countries are also feeling the demographic pinch, now just delayed a few decades after japan did. It’s just that Americans are highly, highly skeptical of their own institutions, be it corporate or government, so they’re don’t show up in enthusiasm charts like OP.
Euros are a skeptical people and also technology laggards so they’re sour at anything new that they themselves didn’t make.
China speedran the japan model and thanos snapping their birthrate certainly didn’t help them.

But yeah this is just more of the same high tech cargo culting copium phase that all demographically challenged countries go through.

I created this. Glad you liked. It's essentially a custom extension + userchrome css to hide the actual speed control + rearrange the context menu order (those two are sorta of a pain in the ass to configure because ff doesn't offer users a easy/simpler way to change those, so. I essentially create a CSS file with all context menu entries, and use {order:} CSS propriety to set them in the order I wish).

If you just want the speed context menu entry, it's quite simple, just install this extension. But this will only create an speed context menu on the bottom of context menu.
https://www.mediafire.com/file/9c9cs3tqwayf3jo/media-speed-controller@gemini-cli.dev.xpi/file.

Oh, also, you will need to enable some about:config option to allow installing non signed extensions, because Mozilla is all gay and forces this shit.

How do I safely install software on an airgapped system? Do I just bring it online periodically to install updates? Installing software on Linux always involves downloading dependencies separately whereas on Windows, the dependencies are often packaged with the software in the form of dlls. Would it be easier to maintain an airgapped system with Windows installed?

My goal isn't increased security, I just hate having constant access to the internet and wish I could spend most of my time offline only using the internet when absolutely necessary.

Also, what is some good technical literature for me to refer to instead of relying on google/messageboards?

What should I do then, email them on non-existent email? Remember to take your ritalin, unc.

It's freetards' fault Linux doesn't have software.

Linux is a nightmare to distribute software for so developers avoid it like the plague.

MacOS has 5% market share and is similar to Linux under the hood yet runs FL Studio, AutoCAD, Office, Photoshop natively.

Freetards, you could have this too if you weren't so stubborn in your retardedness.

Before you start to seethe, Linus Torvalds has the same opinion on this matter.

Just admit that all these companies got filtered because they're a bunch of fucking retards getting by selling software to other fucking retards that are too retarded to realise the software they're using was built by retards.

You are the most incompetent people on the planet if you got filtered by Flatpaks, Snaps, AppImages, static binaries, containers, etc. You have so many fucking options to distribute your software on Linux. How are you that stupid?
