Watch them both battle with their inner demons for the entirety of their life instead of solving their problem with socializing.

>>
>>107528600
People think they hate AI but what they really hate is the politics and economics underlying it, which does not have the average person (particularly American's) interests at heart. You can use a hammer to build a house or break a window; AI is a hammer.

>We trained six 1.3-billion parameter models poisoned across three medical domains
For one these are tiny models by today's standards. And the real problem is that academia doesn't know anything about LLMs or transformers. They're basically industry secrets. The "research" academia is putting out today is 2 years out of date. That's why the companies are so incestuous. They get basically nothing out of hiring grads because the actual cutting edge is purely corporate because of the scale of resources needed to train modern LLMs. So yeah, the paper is a joke. Looking at the authors, it's just some NYU graduates in the school of data science doing the actual training. Everyone else is medical doctors apparently. It's just cope because general physicians are being exposed as the retards they are.

Unfortunately it is glowtown and glowtown is equal to spyware for everyone.

However, bloats are glowtown by definition. Probably not necessarily the Western strain, specially if you consider China doing hardware. Nobody wants to face the uncomfortable truth that USA does not have total control over the hardware logistic chain.

Personally, I work with western entities so it is in my best professional interest to fortify my domestic infrastructure with something endorsed by the DoD. That's is why I use it in more than once place.

Since my domestic private infrastructure was breach by a threat element (a neighbor) I had to take that measure, because I don't deal with networking at an operational level, is not my trade and I am not that smart.

So for example if you look at ANIX you can see how to interface with auditd and trying to have a control over what are my systems doing. Yes, even networking.

There will be a point where they ask the public to buy and user their products right? But what will that be? A phone? Some AI companion robot thing?

The way most companies make money make money is to sell stuff, good or services. So what are they going to sell? And to who?

What is all this for what's the end goal?

AGI. It's described as nukes but in the 21st century. It's so powerful and so wise it can influence the midichlorians... You get the idea.

Yeah, because it FUCKING SUCKS and is making everything worse.

A dozen formerly prosperous western countries got turned into 3rd world shitholes over the course of the last 2 generations. The globalist new world monoculture that's been imposed on us is disgusting. You didn't notice this because you're Indian and that's always been the norm for you. But the rest of us aren't happy to see our previously prosperous cultures die and get paved over with shit.

Unfortunately, people are not resisting the evil whims of the jewish globalist elite nearly as much as they should be, but they're coming around. Only the brown hordes desperate to flee India are happy to be ruled by tech vampires because technofeudalism is still preferable to living in India.

Time to go back to consoles.
Used PS4s are like $200. And if you can jailbrake it then you have access to all the PS4 games.
Switch is also around $200. Jailbrake it and you have all Switch games.
There's barely and PC game I'm looking forward to. Now I just emulate and play my hacked consoles.

That's the paradox and the race right now. Everyone wants cheap as fuck labor and the force multiplier but none of them want to be the one where they have to give up or not use it. So they are going to scramble for it despite the effects of the company or the economy because if they survive the reward is literally too good to not attempt to do it.
It's like the Industrial Revolution, everyone wants factories because you can produce more product faster, who cares if quality goes down or too many of something is made to the point it bankrupts the company or the think you are making becomes so cheap you can't make a profit off of it, if you manage to survive you could be sitting on top of the new paradigm.

You could add more/better conductive ink to the rubber, maybe even something tad more expensive like silver. We can assume chinks didn't use silver but graphite
>>
>>107543642
The rss feed just gives a list of the recent available torrents. nyaa gives the most recent 50 I think? You can add search terms to the url though so it's fine.
Then you enable the qbittorrent auto-downloader with some regex to select which torrent you want from the list
>>
>>107543499
No because people will demand new and increasingly extravagant products, thus creating new jobs. Or they would if banks and governments weren't stealing the whole economic surplus and then some through inflation.

Cool strawman. In my anecodotal experience Linux Mint users who are a little technically apt and coming from windows are mostly chill but I've found a segment of them are weirdly not open to other distros and specifically quite strongly opposed to different DEs such as Gnome and KDE... and Wayland in general

Anyway I installed Mint on my various family members desktops (which I built literally going on a decade ago now) on a fresh SSD. None of them care to not be running the cracked version of Windows I installed in the first place. They also have not had any complaints or technical questions from me because most people, surprise surprise, just use a browser for everything.

I was pleasantly surprised my boomer parents figured out how to set up their wireless printer without contacting me (seems it just werks) and found the same printer success with my aunts machine and her wireless printer.

Mint, I've found, is absolutely great for old machines and old less savvy users with windows-adjacent enough expectations of features and capabilities out of Cinnamon

I use Fedora FWIW

Linux and open source software banned in the UK?
I suppose we are really into attacks on the universities but I never thought that think of the chillens and radicals like Baron Glasman had lost their minds to the point they were willing to sabotage our tech & scientific sector.
but then again I don't think anyone predicted what that nonce's crew did since 2024.

>Very few people get into the lords through sheer meritocracy or advocacy.
In fact. None. Not a single one.

Y'know what you need to sit in the House of Lords? A title.
Generally this falls into three catagories.
Life Peers - These are people knighted 'sir', this appointment ends with their life.
Lords Spiritual - A few bishops, left over from a time when religon was the tool to control the idiots, not docile media and memes
Hereditary peers - People *born* with a title.

Aint no-one earned that seat. Well, at least doing something that's relevant to task.

You got a lot of flak for that but it's a good question. Now, I actually think the solution is much simpler. Consider that it's fine, even healthy for kids to use social media IN MODERATION. On the other hand excessive screen time is bad whether it's social media or not. So the solution is to put a limit on their device about how much it can be used.
