I use boards with either split space or I set space on hold as its own layer and home row sdfg hjkl for nav + arrows

the latter isn't good if you want to play video games because it means you only get space on release of press but it's great for programming. i have never missed not having a physical nav cluster with this kind of setup. if anything it made me more productive because it's just faster

look for a six year old (not jeet) and present her with this:
"if one or more of three girls from your class may or may not pull your hair. and if one girl pulling your hair is bad enough for you to cry. it logically follows that a supposed solution that prevents a situation where every single girl in your class would be pulling your hair is useless."
document the girls reaction in a comment.

Sorry tranny, Systems Design is more complicated than that. Your supposed "prevention" techniques do not do what you think they do. All you have demonstrated is that you cannot go 1 minute without thinking about grooming children.

P.S. You will NEVER be a woman, and that *IS* guaranteed by the immutable biology-checker.

Do you think that they will keep Xorg on KDE alive after KDE officially drops X11 support in 2027?
3 replies omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>107648208
xlibre is taking off.
if KDE does not want to support it, then they can support wayland for all i care.

there are over 9000 window managers and desktop environments which were made for X11 and those are not going to get ported to wayland so who cares about what KDE thinks of X11? let them.

in reality, they will probably have to support X11 because again, xlibre is taking off and x11 is being saved.

x11 is the standard for a reason and xlibre is saving the fucking 40 year old standard.
who will win? some half-finished half-defined protocol pushed by a bunch of trannies or a 40 year old standard?

and what is a DE anyway?
just take fluxbox, slap some file manager and you have a fucking DE already.
>>
>>107651093
>xlibre is taking off.
Where? In your schizo delusions? All major GNU/Linux distributions have not adopted it due to the extreme political nature of its developers.
>inb4 fartix
Not a serious project
>>
>>107651156
>muh politics
who cares? you? ok.
also, its not like there is a lack of political extremism in "normal" projects.
software is full of communists and furries.
i still installed OpenSUSE on one of my parents laptops. do i fucking care if its run by furries? no.
i also installed Linux Mint on another of my parents computers and personally i use <redacted> distro on my computer because i dont give a fuck and most people do not give a fuck.

if X11 is saved by Xlibre, then so be it.
if you reject it because of politics, then you are mentally ill.
>>
>>107651195

maintainers maintain things based on demand.
if there is demand, they will package it.
and if they don't then someone will and will make a repository and people will use that repository.

arent snaps a pain? or you can choose not to use?
>>
>>107651193
I just don't interact with them at all, maybe one day they'll be mandatory, I think in the base install includes Firefox in a snap, but it's just whatever, it still works as a web browser, and certainly works well enough to look up whatever is the recommended browser on the g wiki and then just install that normally
>>
>>107651193
Snaps aren't difficult, they're just a solution in search of a problem and a retarded waste of disk space. There aren't .deb packages in the official repo for some apps, including Firefox. You could add a PPA if you wanted to.
>>
>>107651233
how can ubuntu just werk if you can't even get firefox from an official repo? on fedora it comes preinstalled and you can remove it and get the flatpak or even the snap if you want
