It all started for me thinking I should get better speakers to enjoy my time sitting at desktop listening to music more.It started from choosing speakers for few hundred and ended up with €2k+ for speakers & amp. Before i swallow this pill which became quite painfully expensive wonder if it's all worth it. The value gains at higher price is so miniature if any but it all comes down to I'm gonna keep it and enjoy it forever so don't want to cheap out either. been there done that ?

I don't fully get genelec and neumann design choice. If you're making €500+ speakers why not spend few extra bucks to at least wrap them mdf. I'm sure they are good speakers but I would prefer paying a little bit extra for nicer visuals. I guess it's just taste difference.
