I'm not entirely sure whether these two problems are related- it seems that every three or so shutdowns of the system, NetworkManager hangs the shutdown process until I force power off by holding down the power button. after doing so, it's a coin flip as to whether or not the WIFI module on my motherboard gets recognised afterwards, and the only way I've found to fix that is by doing a CMOS reset.
Apparently this might happen when D-bus shuts down before NM does. What can I do to prevent that?
This wouldn't be too bad if shutdowns were days apart, but the system won't suspend to RAM properly and immediately wakes itself up, despite having done the following from the Arch Wiki (I have an AM5 MSI mobo)
echo GPP1 > /proc/acpi/wakeup
Honestly at this point I could either swap out NetworkManager for Connman, or wipe everything and just use plain Arch instead.
