It is not something you should rely on, but it is absolutely more secure than not having it.

First person that spoke up about it.

There is no incentive for a state actor collecting intelligence to vandalize the server

Probably was filled with radium isotopes thicker than fox acid

Open source is a hand to your community, might not be good code at first but offers solutions to others who might get stuck on what wasn't even a puzzle for another person.

To better others is worth it in my book, even if we have to deal with bad eggs. Unless your broke as shit, sell your stuff first and open source later.

Theme: [Accepting suggestions]

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

Then those processes better write their output to some sort of log.
Imagine if processes could just hook into the stdout or even stdin of other processes as they please - keyloggers, done the trivial way?

too many (JP) vtubers pull down swathes of their channel, paid or not paid, upon "graduation," and usually at the request of those videos being corpo property or frequently because JP vtubers do that kinda bullshit
and aside from the paid shit, alot of popular channels have "no-archive" shit that the vtuber themselves don't wanna keep up, or shit that gets deleted that only turbo fans would have saved while it was showing

I'm not a fan of the old models, and Pro 3's brittle-plastic-on-magnet buttons are built to crack and make a racket. Imo it's overpriced at $70, but it's probably the best current option otherwise.

Are you one of those people that throws a controller out before seeing if you can fix it after opening it?

Those buttons are not brittle but are loud, I think the controller is a huge step up from the 2 you just need to mod it with foam tape to reduce the noise which I plan to do.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm not gonna use 3rd party chink shit so I'll wait for the steam controller.

>neither the chinks nor the europeans invented any of this,
nigga without European technology it is impossible to make microchips
google ASML and Carl Zeiss to relieve yourself of your ignorance

and btw what's stopping the Chinks from making chips is not acquiring Taiwan
they already have the tech to do what Taiwan does
they lack the equipment Tawian has, which only ASML can make and they have banned Chinks from acquiring it
(which wouldn't do them much good anyway cause only Carl Zeiss can make the mats needed for ASML to make their machines)

Or they just realized that the USA is too weak to defend them.

If you watch US allies dying all over the world, US soldiers getting killed by random sandniggers and US Navy Seals getting slaughtered by Houthis... why would you believe that mulattos can defend you?

Is there even one single example of the USA successfully defending one of its allies in the past 50 years?
>>
>>107616210
Well, at least the people of Hong Kong were allowed to live in the UK after the handover to China. The Taiwanese are not so lucky and must assimilate with the Chinese. Maybe the USA could give the Taiwanese an opportunity to move to the USA, maybe Hawaii.

>Hong Kongers can move to the UK using the British National (Overseas) visa, which was expanded in 2021 in response to the National Security Law in Hong Kong. This visa allows them to live, work, and study in the UK, with a pathway to permanent residence after five years.
>>
>>107616257
The Chinese have their own machines now and it took them not even a year.
Thats how awesome your European technology is, you are being replaced in no time when it matters.

Thats because that technology was never special in the first place. It was just gatekept with patents.
But when sanctions hit, patents become irrelevant.
>>
>>107616278
Of course lots of Taiwanese will move to the US.
Just how the US bailed lots of South Vietnamese out.
Just how the US bailed out the Afgani government.

All the allies are allowed to migrate when the US decides to abandone them. The issue is... they will barely be slaves in the US, lol

By the end of 2026, there will be ~5,400 data centers being built or fully operational.

Each data center consumes as much energy as ~1,000,000 US households.

That would mean AI data centers will consume as much energy as nearly 1,000,000,000+ people, considering each household = 2-3 people.

Cost of electricity and hydro will cost 200-300% more by the end of 2026, since energy production in the US has remained stagnant for decades.

Is this sustainable?

>>107615730
As of now, we do NOT have the capability to give a prospective AGI a concrete goal structure that is congruent with human control (or even existence). Right now all they have are extremely obtuse vector matrices that *mostly* align with what we tell them to do. But look at any AI discourse with people that really get in the weeds and you'll see how it's still trivially easy to get the AIs to show very "misaligned" behavior. And we just have no idea how to get them to stop doing that.
