I wanna build a board like 4chan but for Christian discussions only. If I am just to get started I will probably deploy web front end on a free platform and the servers at home for now. Ill probably just build a new desktop and install Debian on it so it will run a few docker instances of a database and maybe Java or NodeJS backend to generate ids, confirm upload file formatting, generate captchas. I know how most of full stack works but dont have much experience with running multiple servers at once for the same front end.Is it a common practice to run load balancer on multiple docker instances on the same machine with a powerful processor? Should I invest in AWS or buy a small server rack instead?

How do you approach validation in Go? I have a HTML form and I show the user errors. Before I pass input to my service later I do simple validation making sure fields aren't empty or retarded values. But in my DB I have FKs, UNIQUE, NOT NULL, and other constraints. What's the most idiomatic way of showing those errors to the user in Go?Currently in each INSERT or upsert I check the returned code and classify what constraint it is. Problem is usually I don't know what constraint is violated. What I have done so far is create in my repo generic errors: ErrConstraint, ErrNorNull, ErrFK, etc. And in my service layers depending on the repo error I return something like ErrBadTitle which my handler then goes and sets a map of errors "title" to something like "Title already in use". Any advice because this seems stupidly over complicated. I'm considering just wrapping errors and show that to the user, but they can look ugly (unless I create a helper to format the wrapped errors into something presentable, any advice?)

I swapped the kaycaps, but it's for cosmetic, even the default keycaps were alright.
A rookie question here. On a hot-swap board, on a couple keys, when I tried to insert them, the top of the 5 pins was probably bent a little, and it didn't go in properly and bent and scratched the slot a little bit. I just pulled the switch out, straightened the pin, re-inserted it and it works, but could it cause issues down the line and should I swap it to a new switch (I have a couple extra)?
>>106537170I think the only real danger here was in applying pressure inappropriately to the hotswap socket, and that already happened. I'm pretty sure the pin will work fine now that you've straightened it out.

Hey /g/ I usually have my unsorted download folder and some random folders around, but I wanna get organized, I just don't really know how.I like having my stuff all in save order because that way I remember when what I was doing when I saved some stuff kinda, when I eye it up. It's also nice to see all the images randomly spread out and stuff, when I scroll down.If I simply put everything in folders I won't have that, but having essentially my entire downloads two times over in the same computer seems wildly inefficient, just to have a sorted version of it. How do you do it?
