How come we never meet people that work at the big porn sites? Do they hide it because of stigma or is it all done through agencies?

unironically they outsource everything to the Balkans where there's a lot of stigma around porn and sex and you can get a 10x engineer for very cheap

Porn companies have generic corporate names that people put on their resume instead. Like Mindgeek (now Ayo). There is a stigma yea but you can just speak in code to bypass puritanical HR people looking at your resume.

Cops with abnormally high arrest numbers are honored, promoted, and supposedly the "best" cops. However, having high arrest numbers normally just means the cop is underhandedly inflating their arrest numbers. So the "best" cops are often just the ones who have optimized corruption, lying, and secrecy. A cop with arrest numbers +3 SD above the mean isn't a hero, but a villain.

Am I the only one noticing weird trends?
Like, the entry level trackers are upping the requirements or making it harder to join and climb the ladder, which leads to fewer new users for the other trackers too, while at the same time existing members are disappearing and torrents become less seeded.
This forces other more exclusive trackers to open registrations or do their own interviews, instead of having only recruitment, and this might lead to reducing the overall security of the whole private tracker scene as they have less experience handling this or some bad actors might get in more easily without any or with fewer checks.
At the same time, entry level trackers are becoming better than mid tier trackers from all the ones trying to climb, so we might see the tracker hierarchy invert.

Windows 98 supports up to 512MB, it gets spotty if you go any higher and often requires a patch. I have 2 systems with 98 installed, each has 1GB, one is SDR and the other is DDR2, only the DDR2 system needed the patch.

I used the 901 back in the day, the N270 Atom was good enough for VNs and basic internet shit.
Really my biggest complaint was the 1024x600 display resolution, 1024x768 would have been a lot more useful and a 4:3 screen form factor would've given more room for a useful trackpad, which is the other thing that was truly shit on those things.

What am I supposed to do to overcome this problem? Don't conform to the models way of printing out information... >Be concise and use simple words. Read more books, ideally fiction.
In my experience, reading books only seems to increase the complexity of words because of how many new ones you tend to learn. The difference I've observed is that more complex words are frequently used to cut down on the length of a sentence by using words more relevant to what you are trying to describe.
>>
>>106507264
Keep on keepin' on, OP. It's like picking one style of clothes and watching as it goes in and out of style if you keep wearing it long enough. Eventually they'll mangle LLMs to the point that they're speaking to people at a third grade level and you'll be seen as smart again.

You know the vast majority of prose in books is just fluff right? They're very much the opposite of concise. I don't think you actually read.

Retard here. I still have a OnePlus 3T and use the charger it comes with.
My parents have multiple devices and are convinced they need a different charger rated specifically for each device (ie supported for 30W fast charging and so they buy a specific 30W charge + 30W capable cable).

I assume buying say a 100W charger + 100W capable cable, they would be set for a single charger for all devices? If something was rated at 20W, the charger would just push 20W to it?
