I do a couple more registry tweaks but they are just placebo and only appeal to my OCD, so I won't post them lest they discredit the rest of my guide.

Skipping "Post-Setup" because I only have redundant and placebo settings there. You can skip it.
The component removal page is the sketchiest but most powerful part of NTLite, as far as debloating. Again, I recommend making a full-disk backup image first, so you can roll back if you break something. But for starters, removing unused languages and keyboard layouts from the Localization section is safe. You can also remove any accessibility themes, wallpapers, sound themes, and drivers for hardware you know you will never use. Beyond that it really depends on what programs you need to remain compatible, so nobody should be following anyone else's template here. Read the Notes for each Component and decide for yourself what you want or don't want. It's a trial and error process. But this is where the magic happens and you can get a single-digit install size for your Windows.
I use "DISM + Custom" removal mode.

Yeah, it's basically the only way to do it, especially considering in the modern era boot times are like 3.5 seconds there's no excuse

it's too easy to end up with shared ESPs, even when you're installing into separate drives, if you don't think to unplug it beforehand.

these days i store my Linux bootloaders on USB keys, which is how i avoid messing with boot entries and boot order, as well as ESP issues.

It's interesting to me that most logos you see have the logo competely separate from the company name / logotype. In my mind it would be good to enmesh the two somehow, like have one of the letters resemble something related to what you do, e.g. the letter O resembling a snowflake if you're selling fridges.

I suppose there's good reasons for not doing that.

probably because they know Nvidia GeForce is nonviable for competitive games due to frequent crashes, stutters, poor frame pacing and driver timeouts that make it impossible to compete

Eric has failed us, he has literally one job, and that is to provide 25 puzzles, per year, on schedule. Now it's only a 12 day challenge, how can you even call that "advent" of code, which is supposed to count down to Christmas. I am outraged, and you should be too. What if Santa's elves just decided to stop making half the toys??? Ridiculous.

>Also, starting this year, there will be 12 days of puzzles each December.

>Why did the number of days per event change? It takes a ton of my free time every year to run Advent of Code, and building the puzzles accounts for the majority of that time. After keeping a consistent schedule for ten years(!), I needed a change. The puzzles still start on December 1st so that the day numbers make sense (Day 1 = Dec 1), and puzzles come out every day (ending mid-December).

It's also difficult to seek at the beginning of a video, even in full screen, because near the beginning the controls disappear before the mouse is actually off the UI elements. They fucked up the design and never tested it.

I know you want windows and I won't argue with you about it, but be aware that essentially all gooner games these days run on Linux.
Western ones run usually on renpy (natively Linux supported unless the dev manually disabled it, in which case it works via wine) or unity (works via wine). Maybe html based engines like sugar Rush, which work on any platform.
RPG maker, unreal, wolfRPG, even the more obscure stuff will run on wine.
Eastern ones can have weird proprietary engines but the modern ones run without issue. Some older ones shit the bed or take a bit to tinker with, but to be fair they do that on windows too (like not starting because it doesn't have a Japanese locale).
My point being that gooning on Linux is perfectly doable.

Here is the bug;
https://issues.chromium.org/issues/40451869

If you use the webaudio api to decode audio for playback will cause memory to leak in all chromium browsers. Even if you reset the tab, go to another page, manually clear out all your audio sources, buffers and etc (the latter slows the leak but doesn't stop it). The only way to clear the memory is to completely close the tab;.

If you are making a media player or a game you are fucked. one minute of 44.1kh audio is 80mb a minute. 10mins of audio is 800mbs of ram.

Firefox does not have this problem but I want my game to be played by as many people as possible and some people still use chrome because they don't know any better. How can I deal with this issue since the incompetent retards and google refuse to fix it?

Thank you for reading my blog.
