This reminds me, years ago there was a weird bug on bing image for weeks, if your search was just "img" it would respond with only its banned pictures, the most forbidden kind of porn pictures if you see what I mean. I thought it was a joke so I stupidly tried, and it was true, but actually it was more disgusting than funny. I always wondered, though, why did these banned results and their bing thumbnails still exist? Why were they not just deleted?

Eric has failed us, he has literally one job, and that is to provide 25 puzzles, per year, on schedule. Now it's only a 12 day challenge, how can you even call that "advent" of code, which is supposed to count down to Christmas. I am outraged, and you should be too. What if Santa's elves just decided to stop making half the toys??? Ridiculous.

>Also, starting this year, there will be 12 days of puzzles each December.

>Why did the number of days per event change? It takes a ton of my free time every year to run Advent of Code, and building the puzzles accounts for the majority of that time. After keeping a consistent schedule for ten years(!), I needed a change. The puzzles still start on December 1st so that the day numbers make sense (Day 1 = Dec 1), and puzzles come out every day (ending mid-December).

Is there any way to change your voice in real time more effectively than VoiceMod? I'm a dungeon master and I use it to give unique voices to NPCs. The simple effects like reverb for a suit of armor, or pitch lowering for a demon are fine, but the actual AI voices kind of suck. They sound artificial and don't replicate the prosody of my speech completely.

There has to be some kind of AI tech that can do these things better at this point, doesn't there?

I just installed Poetry and it's telling me this:

To get started you need Poetry's bin directory (C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Python\Scripts) in your `PATH`
environment variable.

You can choose and execute one of the following commands in PowerShell:

A. Append the bin directory to your user environment variable `PATH`:

```
[Environment]::SetEnvironmentVariable("Path", [Environment]::GetEnvironmentVariable("Path", "User") + ";C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Python\Scripts", "User")
```

B. Try to append the bin directory to PATH every when you run PowerShell (>=6 recommended):

Did you try the suggestions? If this is one time thing, the alternative is simple but tedious to write the whole path in each time. Just do A. Having an extra directory on your path will do no harm to your computer. The PATH variable is just a list of directories your computer will look for executables under.
>>
>>106998961
I tried A and it wasn't working but now it is. But now when I type poetry install, it gives me pic related as an error.
>>
>>106998996
The directory you are currently in is important. I opened the README and they are skipping some steps.

You have poerty installed so that's step one. Now clone the repo somewhere with git. So you'll need to install git as well. And also be considerate of where you are cloning the project. Somewhere under your user is good. Then use `cd` to enter the new `Retrieval-based-Voice-Conversion-WebUI` directory. Now you can run `poetry install`.

The is despite having Google Japanese Input installed.

people keep asking what the use case is. the use case is that typing japanese on qwerty is slow and error prone. flicking on the keitai 12-key layout reduces 2- and 3-key strokes into one motion.
also, if you live in Japan and have Japanese friends that sometimes will want to input something on your phone they won't cringe while using your phone. all Japanese people use the 12-key layout.

>Notwithstanding the above, you may not remove or obscure any functionality in the software related to payment to the Licensor in any copy you distribute to others.
unfortunately this makes it a non-Free license. you're right that this does not prevent forks but it does mean that you are restricted in what you can modify.
I think the restrictions on commercial purposes also makes it non-Free but I'm not 100% sure about that one.

>Pixel 10 Pro Fold , case suggestions
Why the FUCK are so many of the cases lacking any sort of protection for the hinge? What kind of stupidity is this? Not to mention that many of them are expensive as fuck regardless, and/or don't ship until November for some god awful reason. Anyone have good suggestions for cases that have some hinge protection?

I've been thinking that the DBrand case may be the best option, but it doesn't ship until Nov. Worse, for some stupid reason Dbrand only has one model for the Fold, the "Grip" case; I wish they'd offer the Ghost 2.0 model for the Fold as it exists for the rest of the Pixel 10 lineup, but the Grip case is a decent alternative. It also works alongside their Prism 2.0 screen protector (version made for cases), which I am curious how it stacks up to other screen protectors. I'm also pondering one of those Ghostek alternatives, as they seem to be decent potential cases and are available reasonably fast, but not sure about the quality especially given the price and if they'll be compatible with a screen protector. I've used Spigen cases in the past but apparently one of them for the Fold seems to both lack hinge protection and apparently isn't very good quality from some Amazon reviews so we'll see. Any other suggestions for either cases or glass screen protectors?

>OTP and Password utilities.
For those looking at OTP, I've found that Aegis is pretty much the best of its type and can import from everything else. As far as other password/info storage, I think its either Bitwarden, ProtonPass, or KeePassXD depending on what service you want to use and what kind of database.

>Fdroid apps/stores/repos
I see some of you using Aurora Droid or the default FDroid app, and those are fine. However, check in comparison to NeoStore. NeoStore seems to have a fuckload of potential repos already able to be enabled if you want , as well as other features that makes it the best device util I've found for accessing FDroid repos so far.

>Newpipe derivatives and forks
Newpipe itself is solid, but I've been using Tubular which adds SponsorBlock and YouTubeDislike among some other forms. I've been considering looking into PipePipe because it apparently lets you use a "real" YT account if you want to get around the blocking that is done to Newpipe every so often, or because of the type of content you're viewing. Still I'd rather not have to do that, but is PipePipe all in all better than the others, does it have SponsorBlock integrated etc? Any other viewers out there?

The heavy part was a rising tv stand, holy fuck I wasn't expecting it to weigh so much. It's not even that big but the whole thing is made of thick glass. I also got a steel monitor arm, going to try them both and keep the one I like better. I like the idea of the tv stand it would be easier to move around than the arm which is much more permanent. But after seeing how damn heavy the stand is I'm not sure.

They were really cheap so if they don't work or I don't like the look I'll just send them back.
