its so tiring people rely on a machine to think for them and form their thoughts
>>
>>107563243
Tools don’t replace thinking; they redistribute cognitive labor across systems. Confusing that shift with intellectual decline is a category error. Humans have always extended their minds through external aids—language, writing, math, software—and each time the same complaint resurfaces. The medium changes, the thinking adapts, and the criticism remains stuck in place.

& you are wasting your time. You or anyone else could come up with the absolute perfect solution to literally everything and hardly anyone would agree with it, much less willingly implement it, and even if a revolution happened it would only kick the can a little down the road. Humans will NEVER create anything even close to a "good world'.

Silly, you don't have to buy games in the first place!

The only thing more pathetic than actually buying the modern malware they rebranded as games is pirating it. Imagine your time being so utterly fucking worthless you subject yourself to modern games.

floorp, but it's pretty bloated and it has AI garbage too, firefox pocket and their one customization shit for keybindings and other things for duh looks, duuuude

but at least it's made by the japanese and i haven't heard of any woke western shit about them

i'm still working on it
i want to replace waterfox too

i may move to ungoogled-chromium, but you have to do some shit to make it be a normal browser and i don't know any vertical tabs extentions for it that are not proprietary

waterfox and floorp have some weird retarded shit where you cannot make the pinned tabs space longer, if you use vertical tabs, a problem that didn't exist on librewolf though, see image

i've used brave, brave-nightly and brave-beta for 5 years, but it's full of AI shit, crypto shit, the passwords saved in the browser can be accessed only by clicking, without asking you for the user password (i see now that this is the same for waterfox), brave's vertical tabs do not have a scrollbar, one that you could grab with your mouse to scroll faster up and down, if you're a tab hoarder like me
>>
>>107563374
i just follow the general movement , fuck mozilla , fuck libretroon , i ll just move to another browser , thanks

You overestimate the capability of the average normie these days. The average normie doesn't even know that adblockers exist or how to install them. They are used to seeing ads everywhere. Same on their phones. VLC is the only video player they know that can play videos.

Apple blocks dev from all accounts after he tries to redeem bad gift card

>Apple has blocked a long-time developer from his Apple ID after he failed to redeem what support suggested was a dodgy $500 gift card, leaving him unable to work, cut off from personal files, and barred from what he calls his "core digital identity."

>This isn't just any developer, either: The unlucky Apple aficionado in this case is Dr. Paris Buttfield-Addison, a Tasmania-based computer scientist who co-founded an award-winning game development company and has written multiple books on developing for Objective-C, the Swift programming language, and iOS.

>"I have effectively been an evangelist for this company's technology for my entire professional life," Buttfield-Addison said in a blog post detailing his struggle with Apple's account system.

>According to Buttfield-Addison, his account was flagged as "closed in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions" recently. The only thing he can link the issue to is his recent purchase and attempt to redeem a $500 Apple gift card to use to pay for his 6TB iCloud+ storage plan, which he said failed when he attempted to activate it.

>Buttfield-Addison contacted the retailer, an unnamed "major brick-and-mortar retailer," which reissued the code after suggesting it may have been compromised. Shortly after that, he was locked out of his account.

>The Apple developer said that he's been signed out of iMessage, can't access his iCloud account, is unable to access terabytes' worth of family photos stored on Apple servers, and has basically been blackballed from the Apple ecosystem.

>"My iPhone, iPad, Watch, and Macs cannot sync, update, or function properly," Buttfield-Addison said. "I have lost access to thousands of dollars in purchased software and media."

Yeah this is ridiculous. It felt a little too fast and responsive at first, probably due to the leaf-spring design that makes the plate bouncy and the keys light and crisp since they're spring-swapped. I could never get the same feeling or the same near-immediate acceptance of the alu plate on any of my Intro S100s. Even the Cycle8 falls short big time and I love that thing because it's a good board for using Xinhais and Clouds together.
Seriously impressive versatility on this F1, I feel content.

It's like Dead Space Bioshock in terms of gameplay feel because you're essentially a big babysitter for the child android. Combat is a mix of a hacking mini-game and shooting--you hack the robots for big damage and it exposes their internals, then switch to a gun for big damage. Hack-shoot-dodge-hack-shoot.

If you're using KB/M, hold ALT to swap between aiming and hacking.

I'm not arguing that for you, EQ helps or hurts imaging to a certain degree, but you missed the part where,
>define imaging and positioning in a way that can be measured.
was asked and
>"we" do, it's frequency response.
was his answer. I know you don't agree with that because it doesn't take anything to realize that it's categorically false.
I'm not denying your particular use case and results, I'm pointing out he's scientifically bankrupt and you should avoid him. that's all.
>>
>>107563080
My experience with EQ is that it helps imaging a lot more consistently than anything else, so I'm inclined to trust his opinion.
I don't really care about the science, what he said matches my experience.

I suspect it's like this:
>i receive
people believe: OpenAI (not open, not intelligent) is buying all the RAM = they are building huge data centers = there is a lot of additional demand for "AI" = it seems sensible to sense to invest in OpenAI = OpenAI happy
>you receive
not more AI slop than before, because OpenAI is not buying all the RAM and they are not building huge new data centers
artificial RAM shortage = higher prices, unless you just don't buy. Imagine there was a RAM cartel making 3 times the money per GiB but selling only 1 quarter. Cartel wouldn't make sense anymore. Also, anti-cartel authorities might not investigate as much if they think it's a real shortage.
