It doesn't really help that the compile times are long. It takes a minute to boot up. You bet your ass I'm gonna catch up to my Bible studies with that time, I'll be an idiot not to. The only thing I need to figure out now is how to I safely work on Anki vocab at work. If I can find a way to get away with reviewing German at work, then my life will be solved. I end up having less time at home, cause family's full of needy retards

the fuss is always legacy programs (windows). ltsc dropped their uefi requirement because some atms still use bios.
>>
>>107537116
ntfs and other filesystems are related to the kernel and are distro-agnostic
>>
>>107537526
Why didn't Microsoft just implement UEFI on top of BIOS? It's technically feasible to support that:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Clover

You just have the first stage BIOS bootloader bootstrap into a UEFI shim that does the rest.

Hopefully, China will not allow their RAM fabs to sell at the highest bidder and will force them to supply other chinese companies.

>Not sure what private trackers are all about?
A private tracker is an invite-only torrent website. Each member shares common goals: collecting, preserving and discussing media.

Suggestion to uploaders: include Hindi audio if available

This is a request, not a complaint.

On many public trackers (e.g., RuTracker, 1337x, The Pirate Bay), Hindi audio tracks often exist in 1080p releases, but when it comes to 4K / HDR versions, the same titles usually only include English or Russian audio.

Stremio addons correctly surface available streams, but higher-quality 4K/HDR torrents rarely include Hindi even when a lower-resolution release does.

If addons can help with better matching, merging, or prioritizing multi-audio sources (where a clean Hindi track exists separately), it could significantly improve accessibility for users who prefer both high video quality and Hindi audio.

There is a very large Hindi-speaking audience, and this limitation mainly affects premium-quality streams rather than availability in general.

Appreciation to addon developers for their work.

Update to private trackers randomly stalling for good - Same issue, but more information
I made a post a while back about how private trackers constantly stall for me. For a while it seemed to fix itself, and i was downloading for a few weeks no problem.

Today i restarted my server, only to find myself unable to pull from private trackers again, every torrent sat on stalled or downloading metadata. But it gets a bit more complicated.

I've done as much research as I can into this and what i've found is that for one, the private trackers can still see me, my port, and my torrents, ie uploadcx showing me as both connectable and visible on all my torrent and torrentleech showing all my torrents as active. (including no hit and run warnings, so they clearly still consider me seeding and active)

The furthest I can get when attempting to download, is the size will be stuck on 0B, stuck on downloading metadata, but often times the Seeds/Peers number may trickle up, even when theres no signs of the torrent actually starting. But most the time the torrent just says 0 everything and looks dead in my client. (i have a friend test the same torrents just to make sure they arent dead, they arent)

The private trackers normally just sit on "Updating..." and never move. all my public trackers are fine with the "Working" tab underneath status.

I am also using qBitTorrent v5.1.4 via docker and running my VPN via glutun. Glutun is also working perfectly fine and as intended (tested via both wireguard and soulseek location being seen correctly)

I am completely stumped and just want to get this fixed once and for all, any help would be greatly appreciated.

EMP 2FA issues.
So, pretty simple, I have been able to sign in just fine for the last 12 or so years up until the week before Thanksgiving. I guess somehow it got unlinked to my IP and when I try to log in, it's now asking for my 2FA, and I either don't have access to that anymore.

Been trying to contact them through the link they give for the DigitalIRC, but I never get a reply. I am hoping for some knowledge in who or how I should contact to reset this.

Everything you can find significantly cheaper. Look at last generation products as well. Usually it doesn't make sense to buy used SSDs, HDDs and coolers. Buying used PSU is kinda scary but I never had any problems with that. Besides your old PSUs are also 'used'.

cpus are worth getting used, same for ram (try to know its historic), cases & gpus. i woulndnt buy used storage for my main solution, but they are worth sometimes, specially if they are serving as secondary on your machine.

id avoid mobo and psus, but it all depends; i think the consensus among some is that mobos last forever (like cpus) & that its the first thing to break among others.

Does anyone else remember when this board had its anti-gaming phase? People here acted like video games were a waste of time and you're a faggot if you spend even a second playing videogames, but those same people watched hours upon hours of anime, which is no better than video games in terms of productivity or "wasting your time"
You can tell it stemmed from the fact that Linux couldn't really run games. When proton came and gaming on Linux became infinitely easier, people started acting like gaming is fine.
Very odd era

I'm not anti-gaming per se, I play games occasionally, but the type that makes it their entire identity, who has a steam account with hundreds of games, or who uses a "gaming distro" like bazzite, is a completely subhuman nigger and has nothing valuable to contribute to any discussion.
And unfortunately the people who regularly talk about games online tend to fall into this category, so many are understandably hostile to "gamers"
>>
>>107537017
4chan is a better hobby than video games and it's not even close. It's unlikely, but there's at least a very small chance that your writing will improve or that you'll read something interesting and learn something. That's not the case with video games. Video games really are the most vapid and useless form of consumption possible. They have the potential to change but it's extremely unlikely based on market pressure.
