This is especially profitable if you are a regular member of / fit/ and you have a BBC or BWC. If your country is regularly at war, some of the men soldiers suffer losses and die, and women are experiencing a lack of love and the cock in pussy. The thread about forced female celibacy isn't gay, it confirms this woe.

>>107546047I heard that its super flimsy parts and plus doesnt it cost like $1k? no ones buying a used classic thinkpad for that price
>>107547278it was early production models that mightve had those problems, its sorted out by nowbesides it still beats any thinkpad in modability which was the point of my post
>>107546047It's on par with thinkpads actually or at least as "super flimsy" - thinkpads with removable keyboards often have a noticable gap between keyboard and the palmrest with clips showingAlso heard some had their trackpads wonky from the factory and had to fix themselves

Whenever i carry my ThinkPad i don't care if it hits the metal bars on public transport or getting squished by people or dripping coffee to it, i don't have to use any sleeves or hard shell case, i just put it on my backpack and go. It feels like tool not accessory that i have to worship, only minus is battery life and CPU performance. I can compensate CPU performance with remote ssh server to take builds but battery life is inferior to Apple Silicon macs unfortunately. Also i did classic keyboard mod and its so good.

>Despite declining interest among enthusiasts, SATA SSDs continue to feature prominently in retail sales, accounting for a noticeable share of top-selling SSDs on major platforms such as Amazon, particularly in the budget and upgrade segments. Tom argues that removing a major supplier like Samsung from this segment could tighten supply and push up SSD prices across the board, at least in the short to medium term. >According to Tom, the key issue is not whether SATA SSDs are technologically outdated, but how much supply they still represent. He points out that roughly 20% of Amazon’s top SSD bestsellers are still SATA-based, with Samsung drives making up a notable portion of that list. Pulling that volume out of the market, even gradually, reduces overall SSD availability, which in turn puts upward pressure on pricing for both SATA and NVMe drives.>By comparison, Samsung exiting SATA SSDs removes an entire class of finished consumer products from one of the world’s largest NAND suppliers. Tom argues that this is why the Samsung move is “worse” for consumers: it directly affects how many drives are available, not just who sells them. Total AI slop death

What's the simplest way to automate regular backups of a single small folder in Debian? A cronjob to tar it and copy it to a network location? Maybe setup an SMTP server and email it as an attachment? But it obviously won't be able to send out to real email addresses due to spam filtering and whatnot so I'd have to setup my own full email environment, though that would also be neat to have for error notifications
