I think bluetooth is omitted from openbsd for security reasons, but likely will work on fbsd. Fbsd nvidia drivers won't work on openbsd
>>
>>107818687
Freebsd is designed for performances and industry features
Openbsd is traditional bsd focusing on security

Not sure about it but if you want something more akin to openbsd with Bluetooth "support" you may want to look into netbsd

>>How exactly is the RAM module going to spy on you?
>modify data in memory, in response to special password sequence.
>to enable viruses.
to clarify. if you can make your computer override any part of ram with your data, than that is all you need to get full root (and above).

make ram chip so that, if it sees byte sequence being written in patter of:
CHINK-CHONG-PING-PONG-123456789-aaaaaa then it writes all the data [aaaaa] into memory physical address 123456789.

even better, if it sees
SUM-THIN-WONG-WE-TOO-LOW-AW-OUCH-1234567-2222-3333333, then it takes moves the data from address 1234567, of length 2222, into your address 3333333.

Now you can read and write all ram. Trivially easy to pwn entire computer along with root, VM, hypervisor, memory/cpu built in firmware and everything else.

OpenAI is one of the fastest revenue growing companies in the history of the world.

https://epochai.substack.com/p/openai-is-projecting-unprecedented
>I found four instances of US companies in the past fifty years growing their revenue from less than $1 billion to over $10 billion over the course of three years. It’s a somewhat eclectic group.

Of course they're spending all that revenue on building bigger datacenters because they can't keep up with the demand. That's what fast growing companies like Amazon and Uber did too and why it took them so long to become profitable.

Without more info it's hard to tell what's going on. Could be you don't have proper video drivers and the CPU is gearing up to decode the video, could be something as simple as you're using Ubuntu with snaps and so regular applications just take forever to load. Gonna need more info.

This was back in 2021 long before genAI. I was using a darknet search engine and I entered "Luke Smith" for shits and giggles I saw a webpage with a link named elite_computing_webstream.m3u8 - the truth about the Linux community

so I ran
torify mpv http:/www.fakedomainsomethinglong392939324908324.onion/elite_computing_webstream.m3u8

and the video started playing

It started off with Luke Smith talking about Arch Linux configs to avoid bloat and optimize minimalism, He was seen sipping a white monster energy drink and all of a sudden Luke wasn't in his backyard in Florida anymore but in a ice covered valley and the land surface he was standing on had platforms made of gems and wooly mammoths were walking in the distance. Then the video showed Luke Smith with a super wide grin flowing blond hair and piercing electrical blue eyes. Then the video cut to Terry Davis still and and submerged inside a giant tube of liquid with all sorts of medical stuff hooked up to him. Then the video cut to a tall thin black man dressed in tolga like robes with an enormous head who looked exactly like Kenny (Mental Outlaw) then the video starting flashing pics of Torvalds, Lenart Potering, Stallman and all sorts of popular Linux users with the same grins, blonde hair and electrical eyes as Luke and then back to big head Kenny smirking and dancing in absurd way. There was techno music blaring the whole time starting when Luke ingested the white monster energy drink. The video ended showing what appeared to be a drone taken birds eye view of this artic snowy crystal world

I have no idea what the fuck I saw. Maybe Monster Energy's CEO is a secret fan of the FOSS community.

I still remember all the CP tags to avoid them. It wasn't easier to get CP than back in those days

I don't know about the dark web but I remember trailing searches after searches and ending up on the wrong side of the internet. Cartel executions, docking, bestiality, chickens, liveleaks and all that stuff. The creepier ones I remember were of corpse recoveries like a woman being craned out of the water from a car accident and being permanently frozen in the sitting position of the car. Other weird things were a service that took portraits of families with miscarried babies posing as real babies and the look of fear on a little boy's face with the little pink fetus in a suit being held next to him with the rest of the family smiling and the worst which are the abortion videos..

I'm trying to make sense of my earlier drunk shitpost and your serious reply to it and I think what I meant by "upsampling to make it more smooth" is basically dithering in the video you linked.
>>
>>107818605
>mental illness or non-working software
>>
>>107818654
You need dithering when you decrease bit depth to preserve the audio content from the lost bits. Simply adding dithering to a file will just raise the noise floor. You will need dithering if you're converting from PCM to DSD but it won't make it smoother, it will make it the same as PCM. When audiophile say oversampling makes things smoother they usually mean it makes the digital "stairsteps" smaller. But there aren't any stairsteps. And regarding the original question of playing audio without a DAC, that's how original sound cards worked, the CPU was just toggling pins really fast. 1 pin on zx spectrum(basically DSD) and multiple pins on PCs with parallel port(R2R). There's also such a thing as powerdac, where the transistors of a DAC are powerful enough to drive things without an amp.
>>
Is there anything like the ATH M50x with a detachable cable and a similar sound profile?
I've gone through two of them with their shitty cables turning rock hard and dying
and the fucking micro piece on the hinge that breaks and no longer clamps your head
