Why does it seem like screen recording software has remained just as slow as ever when recording despite improvements to hardware and codecs? My computer feels exactly as sluggish when recording the screen as it did 15 years ago.

haven't been here in a while. I just found out abot Pax Historia, which is basically an AI simulation of a grand strategy game. It's about as deep as you could expect an LLM to be (i.e. not at all), but I found the concept pretty fun. Unfortunately, it's also slow as shit and wants me to pay them money.Has anyone made any presets/cards specifically for simulating politics on a national level? I'm ready to take my autism to a new level.

>>106466020This reminds me of Windows XP for some odd reason. They’re really taking the “fruitger aero” memes seriously, aren’t they?
>>106474215I booted up an old ass Windows XP machine (offline box for an ancient industrial printer) and was blown away by how fast it was, on an IDE spinning drive and everything, maybe half a gig of RAM if that, pretty sure it was 32 bit version. From power on to desktop in under 10 seconds. I forgot it was that good.
>>106466020Jeet fucking Christ.
Why can't undervolt settings be stock?
>>106472130Because they have to bin GPUs for different product lines and by operating at a higher voltage they can fit more GPUs into a single product.
>>106472130LACT is all you need
>>106472130Because different chips have different voltage tolerances, people generally expect shit to work out of the box, and undervolting by default would leave some dogshit chips unstable.Half the problem with the whole Intel 13/14th gen debacle was because motherboard vendors WERE undervolting by default through the VRM/load line calibration. The other half of course was Intel being way too aggressive with voltage requests and slowly degrading the CPU to the point it could no longer run with the undervolt, which is why one of the early "fixes" was to *increase* voltage.

>>106475058maybe? this fork seems to be interested in adding in model support; most of the version releases are around adding models. but idk if enough people care about pixart. I'd expect qwen / hidream / expanded flux support before sana, and I wouldn't expect pixart at all

First for containment general
>>106475096I get it, it makes one hundred percent more sense to add support for the latest models and that's reasonable. I just find it wild that SDNext is the only UI that ships a safetensors implementation (albeit feature incomplete)

>>106475194Its safe because everyone does carry (or he believes so). Assuming that, to not carry is the same logic as not vaccinating your children against chicken pox etc because other kids are vaccinated so the disease won't spread. Might work for some people for a while but if enough people get lax, suddenly there will be problems where there were none before.
>>106475311But at home while at your computer?? Don't people have door locks? By the time I hear someone break in I could easily reach my gun from anywhere in the house.

>>106475160The bass is too bloated, and the track is incredibly compressed - YouTube certainly didn't do it any favours. Did you use open-back headphones to mix it?
>>106475160I listened to FK ANIME GIRL COFFE BARRISTAS, and despite being so obviously amateurish - it is as if it is the first piece you made after getting a DAW - I would not bother going out of my way to skip it if it was on my playlist. It's fine, and I would tell you to kill yourself over it; the only thing I'd recommend is throwing out the trash headphones you used while making it - that and being mindful of excessive compression and distortion.
