Use the fucking package no need to configure anything, just use-package after org-transclusion.el and done, I wont be making a pull request to org-transclusion for a while until this thing works flawlessly with the main package. There are some bugs but it's mostly qol stuff and silly shit like the line range thing in the video.

You could use a /8 for your home network if you want. It would not hurt anything other than remembering where shit was. You won't get broadcast spam, you won't get crippling lag, or any other problems. You just won't have any segregation since it's just one big pot. The only reason we subnet on local networks is to have control over what talks to what. This is basic networking. We are not using token ring anymore.

I just spent 3 years working with embedded software engineers and there's just not much typing going on. i like it but i've realized i really instinctively feel unnerved by working on physical things. programming is still probably more my speed because i can do stupid shit and then start over from scratch without losing anything. with DIY stuff it's less so, like i make 1 tiny mistake and i end up fucking up the whole thing permanently. i had to give up woodworking because it honestly just broke my heart to lose something i really liked. now i mostly just work with prefab style stuff so i can buy replacements. it still sucks but at least i can take a deep breath and think like "ok i can fix this with money" and rationalize it as an expensive lesson
