>AI will replace u-
>>106972267Google tried something like that with Gemini but for sensitive content filtering. If you gave it a lewd prompt it would start outputting and then halt as soon as it became porn like. It was actually very easy to bypass, just randomly running the same prompt a few times usually did the trick, but playing around with the temperature. And recognizing porn is actually a well understood problem with many datasets and benchmarks. Those days they simply feed your prompt to some content evaluator that determines whatever you prompt is ok or not. Once a llm already began outputting it's too late to try and keep it from making mistakes. Perhaps in image processing, where feature learning is better understood, something like that could work better but I wouldn't be hopeful either. Moreover a lot of those problems ChatGPT 5 has with relatively simple prompts (about counting letters, a few simple riddles, seahorse emoji, etc) are due to OpenAi hazardous fine tuning to try and preempt handle those gotchas as special cases. You're going to get chatbots that refuse to answer things they shouldn't refuse or who fall into silly behaviors as the guardrails interact funny with their usual behavior.Ultimately, the actual probability linkehoods involved in neural networks are notoriously hard to evaluate, which is why judging confidence in outputs is still an open problem. accurate "I don't know" would require LLMs to know what things are true or not, but that's impossible since they only know relationships between tokens. But also, once you strip away facts have all tokens defined in terms of statistical relationships between each other conditioned upon long sequences, I don't know whatever the concept of true or false even makes sense. If you ask it to say something that is false, why shouldn't it? As long as a wrong explanation is likely, the llm will choose it. It's also why you can't get around hallucinations by prompting things that contradict the hallucination.
>>106951612Whether you will be replaced by AI depends how "within distribution" your skillset is versus how "out of distribution" it is. These LLMs suck at generalizing to out of distribution tasks, i.e, what they weren't trained directly on. If your job is answering riddles you're relatively safe.
>>106954048Yup. Inhuman amounts of funding funneling into this project and no one sees the big picture. The funny thing is AI has existed to a pretty high capacity for the last two decades, even before normgroids got a hold of it, but was primarily used as surveillance and war table talks. The Palantir rabbit hole runs real fucking deep.
>>106984833You can't not logically support the use of copywritten shit for machine learning. If I read a ton of books then start writing my own would that be a problem? Even though I learned how to write from copywritten material?

>>106986176I don't let them write code because their code is often too verbose and impractical. Even something as simple as an HTML template for Pandoc, they fail. I told it to add a 'Command Bar' on top of the template that does search, lookup, etc into the document, but it failed at it.But what I do is, I generate long books on the subject, and convert them to HTML with Pancuck, and I read them at my leisure. The best LLM for generating books is, hands-down, Claude Sonnet 4.5.I call these books "Dossiers". Here's one I generated on Vim and Neovim:https://chubak.neocities.org/nvim-ultimate-dossierThe first iteration of the Neovim book was garbage, this one is much better.I'm currently reading a dossier I generated on browser-embedded languages. If you do an empty image gen in Ovi i2v, and specify a nude in the prompt, you can see what they obliterated from the model (blank boobs, no genitals). I wonder if it works with wan 2.2, I have honestly never thought to try it.

You've been able to download more ram for free for what, a decade now? At least, that's how long I've known about it.
How do I figure out what elements of a website are slowing down my browser? I don't mean stuff like Dark Reader's dynamic filter bugging out, but rather something on the website itself that's doing it. I've only noticed it on shady porn sites like perverzija. I tried pressing F12, but I'm not a webdev so I don't really know what to look for or how to properly block it in uBlock Origin. Also, I have tried accessing the site using a freshly installed Chromium back-up browser with or without adblocking and the result is the same, so the issue isn't on my side.
>>106984245disable javascript by default on everything and then re-enable it on stuff that doesn't work without it
>>106984255That seems to do the trick, thanks! I used the NoScript extension to do it as the list there is easier to read than the uBlock Origin one. Is there a more convenient way of doing it?
>>106984345Actually, nvm, I figured out how to do it with uBlock Origin as well. It's a bit more work, but probably a better solution in the long run. I can just press the all (local) button at the top and proceed from there. I guess porn can teach you a thing or two after all.

>>106984413>>106984514>>106985460How is collecting anime figures compare to live coding music? Itd make sense if you said collecting anime figures is similar funkopops but comparing it to live coding is retarded and makes zero sense.Doesnt matter if someone "tunes it to sound how they want" if the end result is still shit. Theres endless amounts of music out there thats slop that wasnt generative live coded stuff(take most of modern pop music for example).>If you can't make something sound exactly how you hear it in your head, you are not an artist.Another retarded take. Many artists experiment when making music and come up with all kinds of sounds they didnt intend on creating and were unexpected, even your daddy;"The biggest thing I built was a sampler - it took about a year as a college project. The teachers didn't know what a sampler was, so it was all down to me. It worked for about eight weeks and then packed up. Half the time it didn’t sample, it just made really good noises - mad stuff - so I’ve got a massive library of sounds from that." - Richard D JamesFor someone so opinionated about what music is and what it should be you probably have some really good le soulful music to share. Let me hear some.
