>tfw just realized I've been "temporarily" using W8/10 for a full decade now, with no theme patches or extensions

>never actually went ahead and rooted my phone or reverted to my old landline or dumb phone

Linux users are the kind of unsupervised asperger children that will obsess over minutia instead of worrying about finishing high school, college, finding a job, taking care of their health, or literally anything else that fucking matters. There are people who use stock Windows and are more successful than you in life, such as your friends if you have any.

FUTO keyboard doesn't phone home at all. Any additional training the keyboard does is cached exclusively on your phone.
Personally I also like that it comes with some features I never saw on gboard before I switched over. The copy/cut/paste/etc. pop-ups on the keys are godsend.

I just got refurbished T495s to replace L380. It was all good till I turned it on. It has the shittiest screen I have ever seen on laptop. It's HD but colors are super washed out and I could still live with that but screen is also dim as fuck, you pretty much have to run it at 100% all the time and outdoors just forget about it. What are my options regarding screen?

Still, I find things like wrappping_* overflowing_* and especially widening_mul to be very useful in Rust. You can use them to generate efficient bigint implementations without having to resort to inline asm.

Just do it :P Use whatever is easiest to get you to learn - even those pretty crummy youtube tutorials. You only need the basics to start and a basic tutorial can do that. Typescript is mostly just javascript with types, don't worry about that part. You could ask ai chatbot whatever for help with understanding too

If by hardware you mean microprocessors and such, Python (a dynamic language like Javascript) could be another fun language; micropython can be used to program arduinos without needing to know C

I've yet to dare use Controlnet. So many options but the one I wish to utilize is the lineart one. I've seen it do amazing things (see below). If I can get the hang of GIMP's path tool, I can simply make cutouts of the autistically specific compositions/poses I want and wing it from there. Maybe. I really don't want to have to invest in a drawing tablet.

>or is made of dogshit materials like polyester
Honestly I don't mind personally if it's well made. Polyester that's well made is super soft and easy to clean. Still attracts smells easier than other materials so it needs more washing, but I have some polyester blankets I adore.
Issue is the cheaper or worse made polyester feels like the loop side of velcro, which is not enjoyable at all.
>yeah these are a god-send.
Tempted to get a more expensive one that does a good job at mopping this 11.11/BF, my old one does well with vacuuming, but I still have to mop by hand. A clean kitchen that I don't have to manually mop regularly sounds heavenly.

I can, with some annoyances and debloating, run Win11 on my 14 year old 2GB RAM laptop. I used Rufus with a Win11 23H2 No TPM2.0 Requirement iso and that works, alternatively getting your Win11 25H2 ISO from Microsoft themselves, mounting and just using the setup.exe from cmd "setup.exe /profile server"
Some followup commands to remove OOBE from reged, making an admin local and just restarting.
That being said the laptop works better with Win10, or its original Win7, or Linux. Personally Mint since it's nice on the eyes and I don't need to change much.
