This is one of many reasons why people should keep all of their old devices instead of throwing them out. Yes, that’s where the task bar should be in order to put all the screen corners to good use. Screen corners are like infinity size buttons. Top ones are for window titles, bottom ones then are for the task bar. Also putting the task bar at the bottom will raise the content a little bit, making things ever so slightly more ergonomic for the neck and back.

if you're just doing the two domains you can get two certs instead of domain + wildcard. It does that through your webserver instead of dns records. It's still all automated but you'll have to repeat the process if you add another subdomain.
