What DE has best support for tablet features (switching between landscape/portrait, stylus support, power saving features) out of the box?

systemd makes linux pointless. you get more of a headache (complexity) + you get spied on when you use linux, instead of just getting spied on with windows

open source is like having open borders too, its a feminine and communistic philosophy

linux requires internet to be usable, its baked in to the OS design to be dependant on packages and dependencies where it has to constantly make a connection and reach out to do something, and to use it requires constant googling and a.i usage, more internet

it also wastes tons of time, and trannies are always changing the software. at least with windows your .exe will always work across windows versions for the most part, and windows can be set up fully offline

windows 11 is still MILES better than linux. the only thing that makes linux good is virtualization, and they are going to crack down on that soon, i can just feel it. there are so many moving parts to windows virtualization via qemu and fedora drivers

No. That's you.
This isn't a slight at skin tone. I use it in the true and full sense of the word. You are very much a nigger. So much, you don't even deserve a capital N.

NTA, btw. Just an observation based on the evidence you're desperate to provision.

I didn't say anything about your skin. You are mentally Nigger. It's incurable.
>>
>>107550415
I was just making very abundantly clear what I meant, when I called you nigger.

You are indeed incurable.
Your inability to stick on topic is frequent.
Whenever your internal retardation is demonstrated to be false - which is also frequent - you instantly devolve into shouting 'nigger', 'tranny', 'brown', 'thirdie' or whatever nonsensical bullshit makes your butthurt less sore.
Despite the obvious outcome, when challenged with this information, all you can do about it is double down on the previous failure of gobbing shit in an impotent attempt to try and quell the butthurt.

Depends how much surface area you want for vaporization, if you're building something tiny for a single hit or two at a time, then you might get away with a heatsink.
>>
>>107550030
>Depends how much surface area you want for vaporization
I think the physical constraints of a system compatible with existing solutions, and focussing the sound into will be more of a problem. And that's easily solvable.

>if you're building something tiny for a single hit or two at a time
Legitimately, why would you *need* more?
IF you didn't waste you time with shit, one would be enough. Two would be just greedy. Sure, I'm greedy... Might even go back for more than two. But this isn't without consequences...

>then you might get away with a heatsink.
But the thing on the shelf can evapourate ~½ltr over a few hrs without a heatsink. Why would I need one?

Uhh, well whatever form factor you prefer is best for you. I had the xross 5 and when completely sealing off the air vent, it drew air from the usb-c port, which I found pretty weird, and a lot of times id close off the usb-c port with my finger while vaping, and it wouldnt draw any air at all. So for me the nano's are more comfortable.

I need help from someone who knows how to hack or modify grades on a university platform. I need to change a grade. I got bad grades due to personal problems, but now that I'm better, I don't want to fail the course because I would have to repeat it and wait a whole year to do so due to university rules. I don't want my parents to find out about this, and I need help from someone who knows how to do it. I know that the university that manages the platform does not have a high level of cybersecurity. I am willing to pay whoever helps me. I don't know if it can be done, I've just been in contact with several “hackers” on TikTok and I want to get the opinion of an expert on the subject. I'm just a desperate guy from Colombia.

Why don't you talk to your university and ask if there's anything they can do?

>Its off to a slow start, gotta give it time to develop
It started over a decade ago. After almost 15 years of development (or 9 if you only count while it was out of Canonical's hands) it's only gotten to the point where it's the equivalent to Android 2.x or 3.x, except no relevant developer or phone manufacturer gives a shit about it. So it's advancing at a snails pace while having zero market demand and solving nothing. There's no value proposition in using UBPorts over Graphene, Lineage, eOS, vanilla Android, etc.
>>
>>107549646
>So it's advancing at a snails pace while having zero market demand
Welcome to linux man. Look at how long it took for desktop linux to get good enough where even your tiktok brainrotted zoomer noob can install mint ezpz. And gaming only got good on linux like around 2018
>>
>>107549752
Desktop Linux at least had a significant chunk of popular applications and even professional software on it even as far back as 10-15 years ago. UBPorts currently has worse software support than what Linux had in 2005.
And I just looked at their official Reddit. There's barely any activity there at all and the project doesn't look nearly as promising as desktop Linux was in 2005.

>someone asking about Pixel 2 XL
>dev response: "Your device is not on the list (of supported devices)"
Looking at the list they only support a handful of mostly shit tier and old devices. Desktop Linux was at least installable on thousands of different PCs and laptops over a decade ago and it even comes pre-installed on a variety of products.

>someone mentions how Valve's (and I guess Mint, Bazzite, Zorin, Manjaro, etc.) "Wine as a default for unsupported games" is what propelled desktop Linux to relevancy and says UBPorts should be made to run Android apps out of the box through waydroid
>dev response: "the idea to have waydroid as a standard is not acceptable... it is a twisted way of thinking.", "Ubuntu Touch wants to be an alternative to the android ecosystem and the iOS ecosystem"
They're clearly uninterested in making the OS usable or relevant to anyone other than a handful of autistic software vegans. And they're deluded into thinking developers will make apps for their ecosystem.
SailfishOS at least has a built in Android app support so it's genuinely usable.

>someone donates and orders merch, no info on the package status, says they regret donating to the project
>dev response: "Hello, this is not professionally managed. The work is done by volunteers, even on the merch store."

We didn't know how good we had it with SATA SSDs. M.2/NVME is cheap shit that scales poorly and is inconvenient to access.

chinks will fill the market gap with random NAND flash chips they harvest from landfills and put into SATA SSDs.

If someone came to you in 1995 and said in 2015 everyone would have a little computer in their pocket that's thinner than a pencil and is basically just a very high quality screen tha5t can do everything., With fulll access to the internet, and able to make phone calls to anyone, or video calls to anyone anywhere in the world. And the video quality would be better than the highest end picture photography. And it was 1000x faster than the best computers now. Would you believe them?

Yup. I really like Rust but if I have to write a service that will take some stuff from database and some API and expose it as REST API I'm just going to pick Node and have it done in 1h. This is not a compression utility or http proxy, the app is either idling or waiting for IO 99% of time so the extra 5ms to process a request doesn't matter.
>>
>>107549178
>Rust has no garbage collector.
Rc<> is a garbage collector though. A really shitty one, but a garbage collector nonetheless.
>>
>>107549994
Rc<T> is literally just std::shared_ptr<T> but faster.
>>
>>107550194
yes, we've already established that it's a really shitty garbage collector.
>>
>>107547275
something like 40% of all desktops apps are in electron which is like 1000% worse version of node in typescript. Typescript is just a better C++, you can hate me but im telling the truth.
