Almost done with my CompSci Bachelor's (just my thesis remaining) and gonna enter my master's afterwards. Also working as a tutor at uni on top and some costudents think I'm smart. Despite that, I don't know SHIT about tech or software or anything related. I wouldn't even know where to start. Ask me anything if you think this is just imposter syndrome speaking, I'll try my best to give accurate answers.

that's why in some european countries it's not called computer science, but more like information science and similar

UTF-8 is bloated with retarded emojis. If UTF-8 had no emojis support I would guess it would be better. Why the fuck they even put emojis there? People should have just typed emoticons in text OR send small reactionary images. We have worst of the two by having retarded emojis in UTF-8. Our fonts are bloated with useless shit and if you don't have them there or not have all of them you see fucking squares with numbers. Even if you have these emojis in your font they look different in your font than the sender of the message unless you use the same platform with the same font.

If not for emojis UTF-8 would be great. Because it supports it, there is an expectation that it's available. And because of that people use that. If there was no support the platforms would just implement "stickers" - small images or reactions. I fucking hate these retards that put emojis into UTF-8.

If you want help with your code, upload the relevant part to pastebin.com or create a github gist or even just upload the entire project to github. But the exception you posted doesn't tell us enough info to help you, and so we would have to download and run your program, which is absolutely never going to happen

Retarded idea or no?
>>
>>107558600
If you mean the concept of a built in cable, it's been done before and works fine. If it breaks obviously you'll have a totally wrecked plug, unlike those where cable and plug are separate.
If you mean getting this specific listing, then that's probably a retarded idea. At that price point it's not going to be GaN (obviously) and probably not going to be 80W either.
If you're lucky, it's 80W if you add together all 3 outputs, which I still doubt will be the case, they probably are inflating the actual wattage numbers. That's not even a bad thing, because it'll get hot, so lower wattage means slightly less chance of a housefire or magic smoke.
If it were me I'd only get this if you plan on using it for low power draw devices, in which case it'll not matter much. If you plan to charge actually demanding stuff (phone, tablet, laptop), get something proper.

so it turns out it wasn't a vram issue because i'm using API, not local with deepseek, but deepseek's API getting errors along with not using a quantized text encoder.

i switched my encoder out for one from here: https://huggingface.co/worstplayer/Z-Image_Qwen_3_4b_text_encoder_GGUF/tree/main

and i had chatgpt work out the errors in deepseek, and i'm down to picrel.

the 49 second one was changing the prompt and deepseek's API doing its thing. the first one was first run, which (i think) is normal for it to be longer.
>>
>>107558782
Good job anon, yes the first run will take longer because it takes some time to load models in VRAM. If all the models you use in one workflow fit into your VRAM then subsequent gens should be faster.

I've just noticed that Discord simply knew what games I played this year and how many times I launched them, even though I wasn't using their game overlay at all.
What are the chances that the developers of Teams and Slack will implement something like this to report to our employers that we're playing games during work hours?

>>107558077
There's always been a "location" setting in Teams where you can pick "home, office #1, #2 etc"

The WiFi setting will notice when you're connected to your home network and set this automatically, or in office #1. For hybrid folks, this is great. You don't have to remember to manually set it since most orgs that offer hybrid require you to inform whether you're in office or at home anyway.

You could always just manually set it to whatever you want if you're being sneaky for some reason.
>>
>>107558121
Also if you don't agree this is useful, that's fine, but my point is people are acting like this is going to give your boss a real-time GPS tracker and he can see if you're working at Starbucks etc. They don't understand wtf it is so they are chimping out.

You think "tracks and reports Steam gameplay history to your boss" would ever fly?

Discord is not the issue, dude.
I don't give a crap if discord knows I fap to gigantess feet and play "my little sister has turned into a monkey"
Things go to shit the moment Slack and Teams start doing that shit too.
