Another huge plus for z-image is that it can be fine-tuned locally with consumer grade GPUs. I tried to train a lora for Qwen-Edit before an even with 4bit quants and offloading it was OOMing out of the ass

Be honest anon, do you actually use the Home Row for touch typing how it was caught in school? Or do you just kind of get a feel for your keyboard and get good at correcting typos really fast like me? Do you think learning to Touch Type properly is worth it?

>Be honest anon, do you actually use the Home Row for touch typing how it was caught in school?
Yes
>Do you think learning to Touch Type properly is worth it?
Anyone who spends a lot of time in front of a keyboard should learn to touch type properly, for most people it will be a massive speed increase.
>>
>>107553711
I used touch type the "proper way" but eventually started using alternative fingering for some combinations of keys.
If you look at the techniques of some of the fastest typists in the world basically none of them use completely standard technique.
Standard technique is fine if you are happy to be stuck at 120wpm but if you want to type really fast you have to get creative.
>>
>>107555771
That's how I type too
>>
I'm not a touch typist per the autistic home row definition but I am one in a literal sense in that I don't ever look at the keyboard.
Basically my left hand is stationary and resting on the desk while my right hand is hovering and moving. I get about 80 wpm like that.
I don't really have any issues with my technique but I could never get into something like Vim since alternating between keyboard and mouse just feels so natural.
>>

To me it's not about how fast I type, but how effortless (and fun) it is. I mainly use the standard way shown in OP pic, but sometimes I use the left index finger for 'c', and the left middle finger for 't' if it comes after a 'g'.

Also, 30 second test with simple english words is not really useful since I also write a lot of code, so I did a 2 min test with rust code (I don't usually code in Rust, but it uses a lot of weird symbols). I'm more interested in being able to write consistent 60 wpm over half an hour, instead of short bursts of >100 wpm.

Pretty much, yours is 50, but you'll unlikely find something to plug it into that isn't either 50 or 60. ...
>>
>>107558746
>touched something and there was a bright quick flash
Definitely conduction. On the outside of the unit, high probability that the energy just went back down the cable and missed the device. But not knowing what it touched...

>and the house electric got tripped.
Hopefully saved the device.

>Also burnt a tiny bit of my shoe next to the wire.
That's not good. That should trip before that can burn your flesh, ideally, I expect shoes to take a little more. If anything, it's best these things are 'oversensitive'.

One of these, the wire is completely fine for this one.
Last wire was tied up and over time it got exposed, probably tied too tightly I think.
This is one of those plugs that don't care about polarity? Or rather anything that plugs into this, always has the same polarity?

Kettle lead will fit. Is it manual-specification, nope. Have I done it? For decades. Tho kettle leads tend to be 13A, so it may give it more than it needs in a failure.

>This is one of those plugs that don't care about polarity?
For a given value of "don't care". Upper pin there is earth, lower two is neutral/live. They swap +/- 50x a second... Something like that likely fine, not really caring which is which.

4chan boards have too many pages.

4chan lost over a third of its traffic since 2022, yet the boards are still the same size.
This results in threads taking longer to slide off.
Which also results in a single schizo being able to keep ten threads alive with ease. He can even sleep for 8 hours and his schizo threads will still be there when he wakes up, ready to get bumped.

If you ever felt that 4chan only consists of a few schizos posting the same things 247, this is one of the reasons.

>>

we're allowed one meta thread per board per gookmoots own rules. To be clear I'm not criticizing the moderation since theres nothing they can do without grapeman enacting swift change, but at some point it needs to happen site wide.

Retarded idea or no?
>>
>>107558600
If you mean the concept of a built in cable, it's been done before and works fine. If it breaks obviously you'll have a totally wrecked plug, unlike those where cable and plug are separate.
If you mean getting this specific listing, then that's probably a retarded idea. At that price point it's not going to be GaN (obviously) and probably not going to be 80W either.
If you're lucky, it's 80W if you add together all 3 outputs, which I still doubt will be the case, they probably are inflating the actual wattage numbers. That's not even a bad thing, because it'll get hot, so lower wattage means slightly less chance of a housefire or magic smoke.
If it were me I'd only get this if you plan on using it for low power draw devices, in which case it'll not matter much. If you plan to charge actually demanding stuff (phone, tablet, laptop), get something proper.
